Reflektor is so fantastic. You just know they had fun designing him.

That award would most likely go to one of the Earthrise/Kingdom mini bots like Cliffjumper or Huffer.

Do all those accessories hide away completely in the alt-mode?

Can this be a thread for 3p weapon storage as well?

I do rather like Classics 2006 Mirage's weapon becoming the front bumper for his racecar mode. And as mentioned, Classics 2006 Prime's windvane and smokestacks. Sheer brilliance.

Alternators had some great weapon storage in vehicle mode, but I always liked how the Subaru mold could peg their guns onto their hip.

For sure, that was a great way to incorporate it. DSC00337.JPG DSC00338.JPG

And it's a nice reminder that faux parts aren't anything new to the brand.

This is probably my favorite of the Prime weapon storages. It's a nice homage to what MP-10 did with his blaster. DSC00332.JPG

I like how both Inferno and Grapple's hand canons store on the side of their ladder/crane. DSC00330.JPG

I think it would’ve worked better if they had hinged the wing to fold downwards in half when turned into the gun, so it’d look like an oversized clip.

Prime Wheeljack had great weapons storage in his alt mode. DSC00339.JPG

Even with such a low car, the swords don't affect the clearance. DSC00340.JPG

Speaking of weapon storage appreciation, I've been debating on getting an upgrade kit for ER Sunstreaker. It hinges not on the spoiler parts, but whether or not I can peg the gun(s) somewhere on the car. Which kit - if any - allows that?

I always appreciated that Thrilling 30 Springer has two 5mm ports on his back, both of which provided me with storage options for his stock weapons when I equipped him with the Dr. Wu Rainstorm upgrade.

My two absolute faves would go to ROTF Bludgeon and Generations Drift. Drift in particular is interesting how the door parts you push the small swords into hang off his hips and are also sheaths in robot mode.

Bludgeon storing his swords in the tank turret is fuckin' awesome too.

One of the most impressive figures that comes to mind is BW Wolfang.

He manages to incorporate a shield in this back, a gun in his tail and store two missiles in his torso, that act as aesthetic body sculpting when not in use. Amazing stuff.

Prime Wheeljack was a pretty special toy. The swords not only stored nicely under the car, they could also sheath in the backpack for robot mode.

I always liked how the T30 Arcee mold could plug her weapons into her hips to look like they're holstered.

Not the same thing, but one of my favorite things in TFs is integrated weaponry, like Optimus Primal's flip-out shoulder and arm cannons. Another underappreciated thing IMO is peg-on guns/weapons that don't need to be moved/unplugged through transformation. To give an example, if you have guns attached to the engine pods on T30 Whirl, they end up slung under his forearms in robot mode, still pointing forward. I love that stuff.

I think more hip-holster designs would be great. Get some nice gunslinger poses. And Whirl definitely had some great weapon storage options for both modes.

I like how Brawn and Outback's weapon becomes their rooftops. DSC00333.JPG

I really like how you can come up with a variety of weapon storage combinations for this guy. And he can even hold extra ones with all those ports. DSC00770.JPG
