I propose that we retcon the blue and yellow Rainmakers to be Slipstream and Sunstorm, so that Acid Storm may have his own team.

    All in favor, say aye
    All oppose, say nay

But Sunstorm is already defined as... a non-Rain maker. Slipstream is a possibility though. I wouldn't mind seeing the other two Rainmakers released in the Universe toyline.

    I lol'd.

    Good show

That's why a "retcon" would be necessary.

This should have been a poll. Aye, give Acid Storm his own sub-faction!

I'd love more seekers but I don't really like the idea of Sunstorm as a rainmaker.
But yeah, otherwise I'm all for it.
And release them when universe return as yet two more repaints of the poor old batterd classic seeker mold.
I can not have enough seekers in my universe/classic/henkei decepticon airforce

I think Hasbro has already retconned Sunstorm as the yellow rainmaker, from a toy perspective at least.

i think movie overcast could make a good rainmaker

his bio states that he is equipped with built-in weather-makers

Overcast - Movie Main Line - Transformers Resources

    Name: Overcast
    Faction: Decepticons
Bio: Unusually brilliant, OVERCAST has always tended to avoid the other DECEPTICONS®, preferring instead to work in solitude on customized weapons systems he installs on his own body. He travels the galaxy inflicting his inventions on the unsuspecting, and now he has come to Earth to see how they measure up against the triumphant AUTOBOTS®. Obscured behind a cloud generated by his built-in weather-makers, he drops nanite bombs capable of corroding and destroying even the most advanced machines.

Not sure about yet another subfaction, though.

I personally see the jet teams as strike forces rather than a true subfaction.

The subfaction would be the entire Decepticon air forces, which Starscream is commander of. Within that, you would have your smaller teams, strike teams and specialist forces.

Now, I'd have nothing against Sunstorm, Acid Storm and the third one (who I'd call "Snowstorm" for the sake of having three storms together) be a specialist team whose schtick is environmental warfare. Turning the environment itself against the Autobots by manipulating the weather to produce the worst conditions possible, such as crippling acid rain, blinding hydraulic inhibiting snowstorms, or blazing sunlight, harnessed through Sunstorm's systems into an unstoppable burst of energy.
