So after getting Hound in hand, I have to say I was a little disappointed about his size. Not because he is a smaller size Voyager, blah blah blah. It's just you transform him and he is tiny.

For me anyway, he would be awesome in Leader size. His Alt mode should be the same size as Leader Sentinel. And his bot mode should be a bit bigger then Leader Ironhide.

I hope that happens, because I would really want that figure. If not, I hope it is at least KOed and upsized. While the current mold is not perfect by a long shot, it would still work really well upscaled a bit.

Do you guys think we have a shot at getting a Leader Hound anytime soon. Seems like a weird choice not to make him Leader scale. He is supposed to be one big boy in the movie.

 

If they make him fat and have a cigar, then he'll be a must-have for me. That's my opinion though.

 

I wouldn't mind a leader Hound at all. I'm hoping we get a leader Lockdown or at least a voyager Lockdown. From the looks of the reveal pic, that deluxe figure just doesn't cut it.

I will say, voyager Hound is a good looking figure. I think a leader class would give us a more screen-accurate version IMO

 

I really can't say, since Hasbro's choices for movie leader figures are questionable sometimes. Like, we had movie Blackout, who is supposed to be huge and menancing, but only got a Voyager figure. Same goes for DOTM Megatron. On the other hand, we get a Leader Class Bumblebee, so I don't know. Then again, we did get Leader Brawl, so there might be a chance to get a Leader-class Hound.

 

I'm sure we'll get one for whatever movie he dies in.

 

It'll be for the movie after that, or maybe the 3rd one, with a different color scheme

 

I'd be up for one, but won't be disappointed if we don't get it. There are lots of bigger movie TFs that haven't gotten the leader treatment (Blackout, Bonecrusher, Fallen, Longhaul, Demolisher, Shockwave, DotM Megatron) but I still enjoy displaying their voyager and deluxe representations with other toys near their scales...

 

This sounds like the Leader Class Blackout we've been asking for. I guess there's one for every movie.

 

Yeah, I wonder if Hasbro will ever go back and do Leader class figures for all those characters in some special line filler.

Hey, they upscaled Cyberverse, why not upscale these Voyagers to Leaders. While they are not perfect, they don't have to worry about doing a new design. They can just upscale the current molds a bit and run them off. The articulation is mostly there. (At least on the newer figures).

Having said that, it probably won't happen, and it may not really make business sense for them.

 

I would love a leader sized Hound because I already like the voyager one (and it's one of the few AoE toys I am getting) and because I like Hound. I doubt they will do one though (just a hunch). To me, Hound is a lot like DOTM Megatron in that it's a really good figure (although woefully in need of additional paint apps) that is great in 'bot mode and pretty good in vehicle mode... except way to small. DOTM Megatron was ripe for a leader sized upgrade and never got it. Maybe someone will do an oversized KO like they did for DOTM Megatron.

Would love a leader sized Hound to customize and turn into an appropriately sized Roadbuster.

 

There is a chance because there is the rumored third Leader Class still to be announced. I mean it couldn't be Bumblebee because if you compare the 2 boxes, Bumblebee is bigger and they would pack a big box with a smaller box like Leader Grimlock would they.
