I love that everyone that writes these articles conveniently ignores the fact that hbo max can be sideloaded onto the fire sticks and fire tv. There’s no need for at&t to reach a deal with amazon because as long as it works on android it’ll work on fire

With Hamilton doing wonders for Disney Plus last month,Warner Bros should really consider putting some of their own Broadway Musicals/Plays on HBO Max to compete with Disney Plus on that front. Like putting the Beetlejuice Musical on it or even Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on it.
Exactly. Especially in a time where most plays and shows are closed for the moment,it'd be a great time to show the Cursed Child play to people who haven't yet seen the show especially if they can't afford to see the show on broadway or anywhere else in the world that's playing at. Warner Bros really ought to consider doing that because of how it'll win people over to HBO Max as well as win back people who gave up on HBO Max for a while now.
I was able to do it, but I think it’s a little beyond the scope of Joe Q. Public. It would have to be dead simple to get enough people for Max to have any significant adoption. Make no mistake, I’m glad you told us about it, but when I mention it to co-workers, eyes glaze over and they just mentally check out.
Maybe it’s just my mentality of getting the most out of my products (and being tech savvy) but I still think it’s something worth mentioning in articles like this. It’s easy enough to do if you’ve got good directions

The whole HBO situation went off the rails when they added Go, then added NOW, then MAX, all of which still exist in some form or another, some of which get auto-updated to others, some of which languish as legacy product, and some of which are forced based on what device you use. And nobody, BUT NOBODY, can keep any of that shit straight.

Next comes selling any asset they don't think makes enough money. Disney and At&T owe way too much and they need money to pay off their monthly loan payments. But everything is shut down, so that money needs to come from somewhere.
