after seeing retail release combaticons in store i realised i really liked the colors and paint apps. this left me with a dilemma on my shelf. I already have G2 and everyone looks unique to each other, and i currently identify them by their energon names... with the exception of the brawls. in robot mode its even worse, they look like twins.
does anyone else have both versions and how do you seperate them?

 

G2 Brawl looks like a frat guy, so I call him Bro-wl.

SDCC Brawl looks like a blind guy, so I call him Braille.

Takara Brawl looks like a drooling St. Bernard, so I call him Brool.

Hope that helps. Just use the mnemonic: RBIRGTBIBSDBIBTBID. You can't forget.

 

Just check the Decepticons symbol on his chest. The g2 one is much different.

i meant charecterwise but i like that painting method. i found turning the shoulders around helps to one brawl had screwss facing foward and one with the screws back
