I gotta admit, as much as I loved the movie, I liked the Simpsons movie even better.

Although, I DID see Transformers twice in the same day (I got invited twice, what can I say?   ) so that says SOMETHING about how much I loved Transformers!

Nope, probably 2nd favorite though. My favorite movie from last year was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, though the only movie I saw more than once in theatres was the 3rd Pirates movie (honestly had nothing better to do).

 

Yup. All other movies I saw were pale when compared to the goodness of TF

Defintately, no other compared to it. Hands down.

I haven't seen enough '07 movies to decide on that yet.  

 

Actually, as much as I liked Transformers it was #3 on my list. First was Harry Potter: OotP and second was PotC: At World's End. Simpson probably would be fourth on my list though.

 

Naw.

Entertaining, sure. And nice to see it one actually get made. But definitely not my favorite.

Absolutely my favorite. It's the only film last year that didn't disappoint me.

 

TF was MY fav. Second was a tie between Bourne Ultimatium and 300. The Jason Bourne movies are so underated. NO CGI baby!!! Straight ass beating action. And 300 for it's obviously great moments.I could never get down with Potter. It just sucks to me. Pirates was decent. My third would be the Simpsons movie.

 

Favorite movie ever! Harry Potter made the list last year. Pirates certainly failed to impress. Spider-Man was bluh. Fantastic Four 2 was better than Pirates or Spider. Stardust was better than Harry Potter. Don't remember what else came out last year.

 

I watched very few movies in 2007 but, of the ones I did watch, TF was easily my favorite. It's not a flawless movie, by any means, but it was very entertaining and a fun ride.

The only movies I went to in 2007, in order of quality...

(5) Fantastic Four 2

Skipped Spider-Man 3 (read the novelization and it was atrocious) and Harry Potter (thought the first four films were mediocre-to-bad, refuse to watch another).

 

Transformers doesn't crack my top 3:

1) Bourne
2) Superbad
3) Ratotouille

Beyond that, I thought basically every other movie out there sucked, including Transformers.

 

Yes, it was definitely my fave. Saw a ton of movies both big blockbusters and smaller indie movies last year and TF's was my fave overall.
Sure it was big, loud and relatively shallow storywise but it was a fantastic experience and just plain fun.

Each time I saw it I came out of the theatre grinning like a loon.

Great movie. Bring on number 2.

 

Superbad was a lot of fun. But Transformers was just too special.

If anyone gives a poop my other favourites from last year were 28 Weeks Later, Hot Fuzz, Control, Hallam Foe, and Venus... All British, so don't worry if you don't know any of 'em. Spidey and The Simpsons were meh, I have little interest in Harry Potter, none in any poxy pirate films and less than none in anything featuring Maaaaatt Daaaaamaaaaaan, so all the other supposed 'blockbusters' passed me by.

 

300 is the only film I can think of offhand that I'd like more in 2007 than Transformers. Spider-Man 3 would probably be my #3 pick, Simpsons was not that great, zero interest in watching Pirates 3 or Potter, and I missed out on a ton of others. Don't bother with going to the theater very often.

 

Nope. Darjeeling Limited holds that spot.

 

Hands down my most favorite film of '07. And one of my most favorite films EVER!
