Was Beast Machines really that bad...?

    I didn't like Beast Machines. IMO it was different, not in a good way. After numerous seasons with Beast Wars which I though had the most interesting story lines in the Transfomer's universe. Whomever was responsible should have went a different way. It would have been curious to see what it was like if they didn't go with the techno organic route in Beast Machines or the follow up to BW.

    I felt the first three Vehicon 'generals' were the strongest ones (ignoring the "this Vehicon is this Max/Pred") Thrust was the enigmatic one, Jetstorm was pretty much The Joker, flipping between playfulness and rage mid-sentence, and (smart) Tankor played everyone against each other while trying to out-think Megatron. Obsidian and Strika were rather dull by comparison, their main attribute being loyalty to whoever is apparently in charge.
