I realized when Shockwave only had one scene before sentinel betrayed the autobots.... And we was suppose to be the main villain!

For crying out loud, Shockwave never had a scene with Megatron! He wasn't at the meeting in Africa with Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave! Heck, even laserbeak was invited.

In fact, as soon as Sentinel was announced I knew something fishy would happen... I mean, they wouldnt actually bring in another Prime who is "better" than Optimus and have him as a good guy.... He would steal the spot light.

Anyway.... I'm still pissed about Shockwave in DOTM. He was only there to do random shit. Oh no, shocky and driller is after the engine part....for some reason. Oh Primus save us! Shocky and driller came back after 2 hours to steal Prime's trailer....wait he's got it back...oops driller died....and so has Shocky...

 

I would have been if it hadn't leaked.

 

No, because I found out like 2 months in advance.

Regarding the bit about Sentinel, I have no idea, since I was spoiled by TFW once that damned Amazon preview of the comic adaptation showed up.

As for Shockwave,   Only fanatics could still be bugged by a three year old movie.

 

Shockwave was exactly how he was in the first movie videogame, just didn't do much.

 

I was never on these boards when the comics and film came out, so I wasn't spoiled.

I only watched 2 ragin nation videos about Shockwave and Sentinel being in the film....then I did the math

 

I would have been if another user hadn't done a FPS-like score tally sig pic that showed Sentinel "rage quit" and re-join on the other team. Funny as hell sig, but he just did it too soon after the movie hit.

Yes I was surprised cause I kinda lost interest in Transformers but when I was at the movies I saw a TF3 poster so I decided to watch it and I didn't had a tfw account didn't used Wikipedia and didn't used Youtube.

Like many others I also found out prior to watching the film. Before that I honestly thought Shockwave was some legendary badass who was too powerful for Optimus. Sentinel Prime would then help Optimus defeat the Decepticons and die at the end.

 

I was. I avoided almost everything except trailers.

 

The second Sentinel Prime's very name was connected to DOTM, I pretty much knew he'd d**k the Autobots.

Honestly, though, they should have kept him named Ultra Magnus, the way he originally was on the concept art and call sheets. THAT I think would have preserved the surprise.

I was since I wasn't a regular member of TFW2005 during the production of DotM so nothing was spoiled for me. I also bought into the hype that Shockwave was the main villain of the film. I do remember a week before the film came out being amazed that there wasn't any sign of Sentinel in any of the trailers or TV spots.
