Today, the official transformers Instagram account published on their instagram story a look at warrior class Twinferno for RID, if I remember we only had renders of the toy and haven't see in it on physical form yet so here it is

 

Looks cool. I haven't gotten too many figures from this line but from the looks of it (and having Starscream and Bisk) this line seems to be improving with each new wave.

 

Yeah, that looks really cool.

All this recent Doublecross/Twinferno love is great. I don't care about RID but I'll grab this if I see him around.

 

I like what I'm seeing, looking forward.

 

Looks really good so far can\'t wait to get him.  More Twinfernos the better.

 

This one and soundwave are one reasons whu the RID gets and gets better, the start we need to admit was utterly crappy.

 

Ya know , I hadn`t bothered with this line sinse I got STEELJAW , then traded of steel jaw because there were no other Decepticon toys ... but here lately I have been really wanting to get BISK   and this guy was a childhood fave so I think he is now on the want list .

 

Weird, RID has actually been putting out some good figures with the latter parts of the line.

 

Nice to see them using that Twinferno name again. It's so much cooler than "Doublecross", tbh.

to be honest the line really picked up when they added more decepticons...granted i feel the drift, optimus, and strongarm molds are good but this line blew up once fracture, thunderhoof, and the other cons started coming in. anyone still on the fence should get into some of these figures.

we got an awesome ratchet and a much better windblade (takara's colors for her are MUCH better though). this line is great and keeps adding in cool new figures like twinferno and stormshot

 

If it weren't for whole no-nose thing that I've hated about both Prime and RID, I'd be all over some of these figures but they just don't fit in with my rather small mixed A/E/C and CHUG collection. Still, the RID line started out looking terrible, so it's nice to see them putting out some better figures.

 

If you go to their Instagram Story they talk about what inspired them and how they worked on the figure  

 

Kinda wonder why they used the gray model to show off the robot mode rather than use the model that already had color. Looks like an interesting figure nonetheless and I'll more than likely pick it up.

 

He looks like the inner robot for the Pretender Doubleheader. That's who I thought he was at first glance.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

 

Look forward to getting a closer look at the final figure, he's pretty cool!

The RiD line has given us some nice surprises here and there.
