BTW, what's the deal with the flaming blue eye with BRS girl? I don't remember much from the OVA and I never watched the TV series, but I did notice that in an earlier update (2012-07-13-AN20212Page102) you had her right eye flaming, and this update it's her left eye. Aside from that I'm anxious to see the results of the BFG contest I hope you had a good Christmas, and that it will add to the ever expanding casts of WAP and side stories in the year to come!
That's because in the earlier update I got it wrong. See, BRS always has her left eye flaming, but when I did a quick image search for reference when I was editing up that panel, I found this pic: Which is flipped. By the time I realized the mistake, the update was long posted.
I've seen the anime for that, and in that it shows the flame on her left eye. I've also looked at multiple sources of media for BRS and it shows the flame over the left eye as well, so this picture is inaccurate. The only exception for that is when BRS is in white attire and has a pink flame over her right eye.
Man, all this talk of Black Rock Shooter really makes me wish I could watch the OVA and TV series. Does anybody know if any of the BRS anime is available on DVD, preferably with English subtitles, or if there's any news of it being released on DVD in North America?
A quick look at Wikipedia & Google shows that FUNimation has the distribution rights for the US (may or may not just be streaming rights), but that there isn't a dub in the works that I can see. Blu-rays are being released in 7 or 8 subtitled languages, including the UK. I couldn't find an estimated US release date. I'm hoping that means the US will get a Dub, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. I thought BRS was longer than 8 eps. & an OVA...
