I also had the fresh Itunes and Mobile Me charges, and had previously bought from TFSource (which still stored my number).

    Card is now cancelled.

Didn't show anything online, but I called anyway to double check and sure enough, two pending charges for $1 and $1.50.

    Bastards.

So does this only affect people using credit cards?
I have a Paypal account linked to my bank account, and there hasn't been any activity.

Just asking because somebody mentioned Paypal as well, but I guess it's credit cards linked to Paypal? edit: seem I'm fine then, reading later comments. Thanks!

Credit cards are shit. So easy to steal data from, it seems. :(  Hope everyone gets out unharmed!

    Haha, good one!

    So far, I'm good.

I'll still keep checking everyday, but I have checked online and called the credit card company, and they see nothing pending.

This happens to companies periodically, and I'm not going to place any blame anywhere. I will still do all my shopping through TFSource.com (if it truly was their site that was attacked) They still have the best customer service and truly care about their merchandise and how it gets delivered.

Sure enough, I've got two pending charges as well.

Pending APL MOBILEME Temporary Authorization $1.13
Pending APL ITUNES Temporary Authorization $1.00

Fantastic. This marks the first time I've ever had a CC number stolen.

Friend of mine just found out about this. $3 charge, iTunes.

One massive grain of salt. I HIGHLY doubt that's related.

Well, I haven't been hit. Yet. But I'll be sure to keep an eye on everything.

However, this does not inspire confidence, no...

Bastards got me too, a $1 charge to Apple on the 31st. I bought something on that card from TFsource in Nov.

Card canceled. Thank god for this thread!

People don't steal credit cards to make $1 iTUnes purchases. Like it was stated earlier, they are probing to see which cards are legit. If they are going to use the cards, they are going to use them quickly before they are reported stolen. While it may certainly be an anomaly, it's probably not best to tell people there's nothing to worry about or that it's not related. It might be, and we'll find out one way or another. Someone has to be first. It may or may not be him.

TFsource, thankfully, has my old info stored.

Holy shitballs. They bagged me for nearly $700 worth of Itunes and Digital river shit. BOA called me to ask about fraud charges, THE DAY AFTER I ORDERED 3 TF COMICS FOR MY iPHONE!! GRRRRRRRR I used my BOA Debit for that, but my BOA credit card called me. Not having the card handy the 2 $1.00 charges I approved, so the onslaught began. Luckily, the pattern still didn't look right to them so they sent me the notice again. I just filled out the fraud claim online. Sheeeeit. Looks like everything pending was denied, only $4.99 went through.

It's a shame this hasn't been frontpaged or made news. The preorders/new things they make get frontpaged, the fact that your credit card information may be compromised for doing business with them is even more important. I know it's not their fault, but when someone even has an unauthorized $1000 charge the word should be spread. I feel sorry for those of you who were victim to this - credit card fraud is a pain to deal with.

Your experience is interesting. It seems that our banks are immediately stopping activity when they pick up the Apple probe. Unfortunately for you, you got a little mixed up and opened the floodgates.

They're a site sponsor, so they're probably not going to advertise something that would drive business away from a sponsor.

There's still no definitive proof that this is a problem with TFSource. Why front page something that will only stir up the rumor mill? You see what happens with unsubstantiated movie news - and that's just a movie!

Let them get verification and I'm sure the admins will make the right choice.
