Hey guys, Please be wary of bidding on this item: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5992016335 That is NOT a prototype or a test shot, it is a Korean Knockoff of Sixshot. I know this because I used to own one myself and it was one of my very first reviews here: http://www.masterforce.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=280 The seller says "He's a bit rough on the edges and hard to transform (I guess that's why it's a testshot?)" No, it's because it's a bootleg. I will email the seller immediately. I do apologise if this thread would be more suitable for the eBay forum. All the best Maz
I was talking about the seller. If he doesn't know it's a KO he's trying to sell then he's in for a big shock. Otherwise he's just trying to scam somebody.
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/thread79878.html Dragonclaw already posted about this earlier today. It got moved.
That's cool, the more exposure it gets, the less chance someone will get done. I still haven't heard back from the seller. All the best Maz
Right. Bad use of pronouns on my part. We're just talking in circles I think. I was just saying, whether he knew or not, he would soon enough. I figure there are three possibilities here: 1) He was trying to pull a scam, realizes he's going to get caught, and pulls out. 2) He didn't know, feels stupid, and pulls out. 3) He doesn't care one way or another, and keeps it there.
In all fairness, the guy responded and was really good about it: "Hi there Thank you for the help! I had no idea it was a knockoff I was only able to check your message after the auction had ended, so I contacted the highest bidder to let him know, and we'll be cancelling the transaction. The last thing I want to do is screw someone over like I got screwed. Ah well; that's life....that's what I get for buying it from a dealer at a convention. Again: Thanks for the help " All the best Maz
