Cool that's how the metallic TransformMission Havoc was.
Oh also I found reversing the legs and hands on Blast-off and Vortex fixed the weak "elbows" in the combined mode since by reversing them you can actually take advantage of the knee joints on the limbs. Though you'll have to figure out a solution you find comfortable when it comes to the arms and more importantly Blast-off's missile launchers/tail fin because once you flip the arm around it'll get in the way
Did anybody’s reissue for fierce attack have missing missile rack
So what was WB02?
I also didn't receive the missiles.
I have a MBD Bruticus I stole them off, but I only use the hipskirt rockets anyway.
That's WB-03, no?
which lead to me doing some googling
Apparently it was menasor but that never happened and some ex Warbotron guys went to transformission and made their menasor
Can anyone confirm yet if this version of Warbotron is indeed a reissue, or if it's a quality knock-off? Thanks in advance.
Based on pictures posted by people here the box is branded Warbotron and is styled/packed the same as the metallic TransformMission Havoc release. Those both use foam inserts, but I believe the Computron one that started the KO question used a plastic insert.
Warbotron arrived. not seeing any missile pods with mine either, but i'm not too fussed.
on a side note, if anybody needs any part of X-ray (except the chest, i messed up my first copy during assembly) or the weapon set that comes with him, I've got a set.
Hey, sent you a DM!
What messed it up? I recently got an X-ray set, but haven't put it together yet. I remember there was talk about something on it that could break when people first got it, but can't remember the details.
Where you guys get the sets from? All the ones I see are sold out.
I ordered them from BBTS in December, and early january.
the pieces that attach to the torso to attach arms, slide down a reeeeeeeeeaaaallly super thin hollow post.
on X-ray #1 the first attachment was tight, but not horrible. the second one went fine until about halfway, then the twisting downward force sheared of the post on that side
on Xray #2 i put a sewing needle down the hollow in the middle (to increase it's support), and hand turned a drill bit down the hole on the attaching part.
I've got pics if you need them.
I ordered mine from BBTS back in December as well.
Thanks for the details.
Why don't get the X-ray KO by KBB? Cheaper plus less likely to break. Can still find on AliExpress.
also of note on my copy, both feet were on the wrong leg, unless he's supposed to have inverted ankle tilt,
and came with a second copy of Brawl's handgun, unless he's supposed to have 2 and the instructions just don't show
and the brawl/onslaught connection is super tight. like i haven't actually assembled the full combiner yet because it wont go in . gonna try a couple drops of mineral oil, maybe a light bit of sanding
I picked up the OS KO for $70. I liked the design of Warbo, but wanted it to scale to CW Devy. I liked Onslaught's integration into Bruticus, but it's clear this is a decent combiner at 15 inches, not more. Plastic is meh, Vortex is a chore to transform, and it can get loose in spots. Tons of parts,, and the standalone launch pad form is fiddly at best.. He stands tall and imposing, but it's apparent he can't hold his own weight, especially with gun in hand.
Brawl's transformation is fun, and Swindle as a Hummer feels right. It's still a decent set, and he definitely has a presence on a shelf. But I would stick with the original sized Warbotron or pay <$100 for this one.
The launch pad form is fiddly on the standard sized version
