What if it was a case of WB not being able to produce the number they needed in the first batch, they contacted BBTS first since they had the largest order and said we wont be able to ship your whole order, we have to split what we have among everyone. Then BBTS could have told them they would drop them if they didnt get their full order, so WB caved. We just dont know.

 

We don't see as much fan rage on official exclusive toys cause the price and availability are determined to our advantage. (minus Quebec which is whole different can of worms).

Pricing and distribution on the third party side is determined by the biggest company which also sells it to the consumer. No one protects us here from price scams and monopoly. As you can all determine for yourselves by now.

Again if you don't mind those "mysterious" bonuses... By all means.

I would say we shouldn't talk about it, if we didn't know anything about it.

But we do have a bunch of information on it from different sources. So the free pass, is not so easily handed at this time.

And we know from even the biggest of corporations, the only way you get the "truth" is through goverment investigations and so on. Just ask GM.

 

If it happened that way and you were WB, a new company, could you really risk losing BBTS as a seller? My point is that we really dont have all the info to place blame on one side vs another. To me it would seem more likely both have some fault in the issue.

In theory, I could turn my back on BBTS because that means all the other vendors get full stock of their items.

It'll be a matter of time before BBTS will get enough calls asking to carry my product. Don't need to look further then Quakewave for this. BBTS did not initially carry it, but did later on. BBTS may talk a hard game, but they are in the business to provide as many figures as possible to the consumer base. They don't want to lose said consumers to competition offering items they don't have. What was the last thing they didn't carry?

 

To those that have Air Burst, is it possible to have arm mode look as cleanly as in this pic?



I've seen all video reviews of the figure, and all of their arm modes do not look like this.

 

That arm mode is a mystery now isn't it? Oh wait.  

 

Im sure its still possible, I noticed that after reviews came out that I didnt remember the arm looking so odd. You would need to turn the waist around to use the robot knees as the elbow though.

 

If WB's "mystery accessory" addition/concession and FB apologies are any indication, I think they're starting to wise up to the fact that people are not happy. Not sure what else you want them to do aside from committing more factory resources to get Air Burst stock out to other retailers and ensuring this clusterfark doesn't happen again with future WB-01 figure releases?

Well, there is some truth in that. I grew up with all Asians. Calling each other fobs, or me being called an inside out twinkie never offended me (white on the outside, yellow on the inside) never offended us.

Such terms were normal and to be honest still are. I am in Flushing monthly to visit my mom.

So the term if, implies that some would get offended and some other won't. If everyone of said race was to get offended, there is no if. There are certain terms that are immediately racists and offensive. There are others that are not so clear.

Well thanks to some side-issue shadiness it seems the UK may not get any Warbo at all. Seems the "threat" is " to blank us completely due to the actions of one retailer. Or some such utter fucking bollocks.

So no boycott for us, just a blockade. Look how well that worked out in Phantom Menace you jerks, we ended up with No Jedi and Jar Jar in the fucking Senate.
