I really wish they would have done the Stunticons first. Computron is easily the worst combiner source material wise. Oh well. This will give the wallet time to recharge I guess.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- Warbotron is like TFC done right. Their aesthetic is suspiciously similar, but they stick closer to the source material, have better QC, and crank out new bots like nobody's business. In essence I agree with you UM that TFC has a bit of running to catch up to do with Warbo, as WB is one upping them at their own game. No hate for TFC- I own many of their bots- but WB just brings a glow to my fan heart that TFC sometimes doesn't.

Pretty sure WB-1 is gonna be my Bruticus, pretty sure Quantron is gonna be my Computron, I'd also like to see WB-2 before deciding on a Menasor. Kinda sad there's not any mockups at all.

Well, the FP Motormaster is such a grisly disaster WB Menasor kinda' gets the nod by default.

I don't mind M3 that much as some others do. It all boils down to how cool the cars are, honestly. Daddy likes some supercars.

is it wrong that Afterburner's wheels just bug me in combined mode? They just are out there...nothing subtle about them, kind of blatant kibble.

I'm going to get both MT Quantron as well as this one. I don't think this one is overtly superior to Quantron (I actually prefer the MT/FP scale for my combiners but broke down and bought all of the available WB-01 figures) but I do like the size of these guys. My display will now be as follows:

G1 version of Computron, Quantron, WB-03. Kind of like an evolution of the character but not really =P

Going to do this with Menasor as well once WB-02 starts surfacing :D

I'm starting to lean toward Warbotron over MT. It looks good and it will scale better with my Hercules, MMC Predaking and my MPs. Guess I need to hurry up and get Warbotron's Bruticus. Any rumor if Warbotron will sell there combiners as a gift set after all of the figures are released?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand somehow Warbotron have managed to do it again, right at the fiinish line they tripped over.

The light piping red eyes, the huge tyre on the back, the huge fists all things that don't make it masterpiece but more of a masterpiece scaled classics.

Sad, really, because their toys are advertised with masterpiece given the impression of which line they were designated to fit, but as in the past they just miss the mark, which is highly frustrating because I really want to want this figure as I like Computron and very, very ,very likely Takara won't be making an MP version anytime soon .

But with all these liberties taken, the gigantic tyre on his shoulder, the tiny head, the underwhelming picture of Scattorshot, one of my all time favourite transformers, I think I might just have to pass on this guy, I'll wait and see more pics but at the moment it's more nay than yay!

Warbotron, why do you torture me!?
