Just got this guy and knew right away that I was going to do whatever it took to get his turrent to fit on his back like G1. All it took was about 2 minutes of my time.






As you can see in the pic below the turrent fit way to close on his back to allow arm movement.




So my solution was to simply grind down the post that becomes the gun handle in bot mode. This way no one would ever even see what I had done to him. It allows the turrent to sit away from his back so now I have full arm movement.




Just take your time and shave of a little at a time till you get the results you want.This doesn't affect his holding the gun or transformation at all.I know this isn't for everyone but it works just fine for me.

 

So wait, does this let the post sit in a different hole? I'm just trying to understand because it looks like it'll be a while before I get my hands on my own and I love what you've done.

 

^ The actual handle for the weapon folds up/down, and is noticeably longer than the peg the turret sits on in tank mode. The short peg is how they expect you to peg the turret on the back, as per the instructions. So same hole, longer peg lol Nice mod.  

 

Again, could have been averted with wider shoulders. Alas.

I shaved away the 2 longish posts on his pistol handles so that the handles become fully rounded, and not an ass put into either arm, and can rotate while on the turrets..
