I wanna ask, if the green is painted on over brown plastic, or is molded by default?

    Great review.

He will be Skyquake in my collection. That looks nothing like a zombie.

Most of the bare plastic is in camo green followed by black. The brown and black gradients are painted on. The clear parts are done in this odd translucent brown.

Poor dude got a gag cigar!

There's no way I won't be calling him "Shitstorm" too. Probably keep the face as-is. It's an (excrement)-eating grin to go with the adopted name. :)

Sparkless Seeker is awesome! I can't help but put these five into their own team/faction...

The Sparkles5 or Da Zparkles5 (because zombies and there's five of them)? :p

DaZparkles5 makes me think they're about to drop a mid-2000's boy band album.

I'm stealing this idea. I'm thinking more of a G1 version of the Prime character than the Predator, though. Ironically, that one is still a zombie.

Can someone show me how the Battlemasters look on SS 86 Kup and Blurr (or maybe even the TR/Legends versions). I'm thinking of repurposing these little dudes as their TM partners.

I'm calling him Ruststorm, seems fitting.

Here's Shitstorm, the Sparkless Seeker! Though I may end up needing to rename him, see discussion below...

Here's his inner packaging and instructions. After handling him thoroughly, the only real defect I noticed is that one of his Null Rays was over-molded; it was injected with too much pressure, and some plastic escaped the edges of the mold, resulting in the part being significantly over tolerance. It won't socket into most 5mm ports on his body at all. Other than that, all his engineering and construction seems excellent and his joints are nicely tight.

Instead of light piping, he has an opaque brown block inside his head. With a small philips-head screwdriver you can easily remove this brown block and give him a "hollow skull" that functions a little differently than light piping, giving diffuse eye glow that's pretty creepy:

    "They're baaaaaaaaack..."
    SSeeker_1.jpg

Like other Siege Seekers, he stands well and cuts a great figure. The fiction that he's an "undead sparkless" robot is not conveyed at all. With his smirking face and smooth paintjob, he just looks like a slightly dirty military olive drab robot that would probably shit-talk his way into an early grave at a poker game.

His Battle Master partners are nothing amazing, but Sparkless Singe matches his master very well. Mine was well-assembled with tight joints. My Sparkless Caliburst is a bit of a floppy mess, but I've come to expect that from light grey plastic. It's totally manageable, and he looks sharp in his red shades and dark grey armor and helmet.

As usual, the plastic seatbelt straps in the inner packaging have slightly warped the included blast effects (not pictured) by strangling them.

I'm in the market for a new Cybertronian Decepticon flyer. Genuinely think this guy looks pretty good to fill that role, especially given my severe lack of tetrajets. Kind of gives off a similar vibe to Red Wing or Triggerhappy. Maybe I overlooked someone talking about them but are the joints pretty solid on the main toy?

I'm gonna go see if he's at Hasbro Pulse. I simply must have him in my collection.

I just got mine two days ago, but having a real problem keeping his wings tabbed in while in alt mode.
Been trying to shave down a few points to help, but so far haven’t pinpointed the right spot.
Anyone else have this problem or know a fix?

I’ve seen two of these. One had the smirking face, and one had the “scar” at the corner of the mouth that was shown in the early pictures.

Got mine delivered from Walmart (I've refused to set foot in one if I can help it).

Like the others, mine doesn't tab in smoothly for jet mode, though it's not as bad as some of the other pics. I used a hairdryer to help, but it didn't do much, I think there's some warpage with a number of parts on the jet.

As a bigger QC problem, the head wouldn't fit into the chest area, I had to trim away some excess plastic on both the backplate for the headplate and some of the chest interior to get the head to fold away properly. Quite a difference from the other Seekers I've gotten, who all worked fine.

Anyway, yeah, I'm a sucker for Seekers it would seem, though how much longer I can't say. I will say, mine is going to be Contrail I think.

Hmm, haven't paid attention to the thread in a while. Haven't heard of this issue before. Ours stays in just fine, as shown in the 1st post. Just tried transforming again and stays in.

Ours was an import via Toyarena and got it 4 months ago.

    Got mine today.

Love the concept of these sparkless bots. Or dead bots if you will. I love the mold too. Worth a pick up if you're looking for something a bit different concept wise.
