Wow this is great! How’d you make the faction symbols on tinkercad?

Thanks man. I used the method described by @WayGroovy. Maybe he can provide a link to his description. I basically download a pic of the symbol, convert it to a black and white image, use Flashforge Flashprint to convert it to a 3D model and then import the model into Tinkercad. I did the same thing to get the Cybertronian text models.

Quick update. The print was about 92% complete when the power went out on our street. I was standing in front of the printer when it happened...the wife woke up when she heard someone yell, “GOD FUCKING DAMMIT”. No real harm done...it was just a bummer that it didn’t finish as planned. I’ll have to print out the final couple centimeters of the throne and glue them on to the portion that printed.

On another note, I overestimated the size of this piece a bit. They always look bigger on the screen...lol. It will work great for deluxe sized figures and even some small voyagers...but it is way too small for leaders. On the bright side, it isn’t that tough to just print it in a larger size...up to a point.

I have to work out of town this week and won’t be able to resume printing until next weekend. I will, however, bring the partial print with me so I can work on cleaning it up while I sit and stew in the hotel room.

I'll put some progress pics up during the week. I brought a TR Kup with me for size comparisons. I'll be sure to post a few.

I did a quick dry brush coat of silver on the throne...still need additional details painted. I'm also thinking this needs to be up-sized about 30%. It will fit a deluxe OK...but a little more might be in order for anything larger. Sorry for the shitty pic...I'm in a hotel room.

To me the size looks fine, other than the height of the seat

V1 is now complete! I'm going to make the seat about 1" taller for V2 to give the bots some extra leg room. If anyone wants this version, let me know and I will put it on Thingiverse.

Thanks man. Lots of stuff can be done with Tinkercad if you're willing to fiddle with it. And, you can't beat the price. Thanks for all the likes!
