It won’t be at GameStop. In US it’s only a Walgreens exclusive. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen a transformer figure in any GameStop I’ve been to locally.

 

/sigh! Sadly that makes sense. No Walgreens in Canadaland.

Is it a good or bad thing I can hear Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler doing commentary while looking at these?  

 

Got myself a Redwing. Still don't like this mold as the Seekers, but on a standalone character I like it a lot. I can see why everyone is going nuts over it. The colors are great and for the first time I don't want to remove the grime. Wish the forearm port was a bit more centered though.

Also I've decided that she is a she, and there's nuttin' y'all can do about it.

It just doesn't feel like them to me. I think because the tetrajets don't look like jet fighters, alien or otherwise. I dunno, I guess I just really want the Seekers to be perfect and between these ones articulation and Jetfire's transformation I think Hasbro could make perfect F-15 Seekers at the Voyager price point.

Not that it isn't a great mold for what they were going for mind you. Probably the best possible way to get a tetrajet altmode with the jetfighter cockpit chest from the first episode of G1.

Not really liking the G1 episode 1 Cybertronians modes (outside of Bumblebee's adorable flying saucer) probably has something to do with it as well.

And to add some appreciation to this:

Red is just oozing personality, regardless of pose. Just, great articulation and a phenomenal headsculpt.


Brunt ain't too shabby either. Pretty laid-back dude for a mindless murder drone.

 

Mine is really perfect to be honest. Sorry to hear you had this problem, he's a greatly anticipated figure who isn't cheap. Maybe try contacting Hasbro???

 

It's quite surprising of how a good deco can make a mold shines. Prowl's deco do make this mold looks boring and stumpy, but Bluestreak here looks good.




I do concern about the longevity of the lower legs however, since almost the entire lower legs are made of translucent plastic parts which are on the brittle side.

 

The one thing this mold gets absolutely right that the other 3 versions don’t is that strip below the abs being a different color. Barricade would look equally as good if his forearms and that strip were black instead of lavender

 

Toyhax smokestacks and labels on OP. Matrix Workshop Coronation set on Starscream and Axe on OP. Custom blast effects, OP jetpack, Starscream cape, and Red Wing LED sword by myself.
