Hmm rhe ridge is the same width as a plastic clamp shell for a card back figure if not thicker 20190329_215923.jpg 20190329_215746.jpg 20190329_215750.jpg 20190329_220252.jpg 20190329_220312.jpg

@Sorrow Six Star if you have those Go sword bot cards or any of the beast wars neo Cards would mind doing the same as I did with the cards to show the thickness of the ridge on your figure?

I don’t have those cards. But I don’t have anything to measure from that angle. Mine basically has a line and no ridge I can barely feel it with a finger nail

Does Galaxy Prime have 5mm holes in the smokestacks? I want to use Sixgun as an Energon Wing Saber homage and am wondering if I should grab a Voyager Prime for that.

    Ironhide vs. Starscream.jpg
I finally finished fixing my Starscream's paint. I'm enjoying him a lot more now, though I'm hoping the potential "35th Anniversary" Edition will have some improvements as my copy had a lot of QC issues (bar on tetrajet canopy just fell off at random, missing face paint, fists that pop out, broken light piping that I had to fix...). Starscream is obscenely poseable, but his stupid feet make everything hard and also make it so he can't use weaponizers. Starscream's backpack also gets in the way of a lot of the great poses he could have made if it weren't there and he's not very balanced...but he's an excellent swordsman. This figure's arms are some of the best arms I've messed with on a Generations figure...he can do pretty much everything but the backwards butterfly and they hold an impressive amount of weight. Starscream's kinda shitty in a lot of ways, but he balances that out with a lot of awesome. I'm very conflicted about him, but I keep on messing with him so I'm going to go ahead and say that I really like him. I suspect Skywarp will be a favorite of mine.

I don't know if this has been discussed, but the little square silver thing on the back of his head can groove into the little slots on his shoulder pylons to hide the big ol' gap in his backpack:

Looks intentional, so somebody probably already found this...

So prowl and chromic are probably the weakest toys in the line so far.

While I won't really say that Chromia and Prowl are the weakest figures in Siege (Since we're only at wave 2, future waves may have worse figure), but they're probably the least interesting figures in Siege so far; And the other figures are simply more interesting.

    • The Weaponizer deluxes like Cog and Sixgun can be separated into individual weapon component for other figures, and can be rearranged into different configurations.
    • The Battlemasters includes different translucent blast effect parts for more dynamic display.
    • Deluxes like Ironhide and Skytread are long awaited updated figures of characters that didn't have decent updated figures for years.
    • The Micromasters features slightly better posability than their G1 predecessors, and can be combined together for a bigger weapon-thing.

Oddly enough, the local Walmart put out two cases of Wave 2 the other day, and all that's left are three Chromia's and one Prowl.
