I think you may be asking for too much my friend, you shouldn’t expect them to be Universe 2.0 size especially with all the added details, articulation, paint, etc.

This may be my one and only Siege figure.

Sideswipe looks good next to CW Sunny. I may be crazy but I would love to see this in G2 Go-Bot colors.

'til they release a new Sunstreaker, I think I'd be happy with that!

Many universe toys including this one are about a head taller than most other generations toys though.

As a weapons enthusiast and being all for expanding the lore, I much prefer the weapon model schtick.

So has anyone figured out yet what the peg on Sideswipe's chest is for?
It better by something good to ruin such a great car mode by slapping a pimple in the middle of his hood!

Man is that some sexy bot on bot action!

Each figure will have those figures in various places for the blast effects to be attached to emulate taking a hit from a blast. A clever concept, but agreed on the asymmetrical placement on his chest/hood. I love the way the figure looks, but that post already bugs me.

I cannot state enough how much I am excited to get my hands on these. I don't typically play with my figure, I usually just fiddle with a display them...but with these guys, I am going to have a blast coming up with crazy, over-the-top configurations and displays. Mayhap I will try my hand at taking photos finally to post. I definitely see myself buying multiples of the Battlemasters and the Weaponizers. I also look forward to use of the new figures to armor up base-figure like the TR Leaders and the Titans!

Has anyone found a way to lock Megatron's neck flap? That is the one thing that really irks me about this otherwise good figure (loose joints can be tightened with Future/Johnson Klear) Even a replacement part would do.

I'd just assumed that and the one on his shoulder were 3mm pegs for slapping effect parts on as blast damage?

This line, like Studio Series, is being made with scale in mind.

I don't have any of the toys yet, but I appreciate the scaling in this wave. I'm more sold on Prime and Megatron being Voyager sized than I would have been pre-POTP, and actually like the idea of Shockwave and Magnus' cab mode being that size with Leader-size extras. Looking forward to collecting from this line.

Personal rankings so far: Lionizer is the most fun to play with, Firedrive is the best-looking, Blowpipe is okay, but basically Firedrive turned around and not as pretty.

That pretty much confirms that they are the same size as Universe Hound.

    Nice.

I agree I do hate it's being down-sized (but not the cost), but it looks like Hasbro's designers attended some seminars being held by Takara's designers or something (no offense to certain Hasbro employee if you're reading this, you still the man bruh:D :D ).
