I personally dont like the neck area on classics prowl hound tho looks ok lighter green tho.

I only have the wave 1 battle masters, Optimus, Shockwave, Megatron, and Hound. If we're not talking the lil' guys, I'd say Megatron is my least favorite. Not that he's bad, but I personally like him the least. Most favorite would HAVE to be Hound. My most anticipated from wave 1, and I love him. However, I feel like Sixgun, Soundwave, or Ironhide might change my ranking.

As of right now, my rankings are:

4. Megatron
5. Lionizer
6. Firedrive
7. The blue battle master from wave 1

 

Can't really have Rumble and Hound without wanting to recreate Decepticon Dam Busters, right?

 

I really want to like Starscream in this line but I honestly cant do it   def my weak link in what is a great toy line.

Despite issues with the chest piece, I really love Starscream. Articulation for the robot mode is leaps better. The wrists are so well designed I think they used be used on all wrists that swing out like that just to add that wrist swivel. Having the port for stands where it is (figure's taint lol), it works well for both robot and alt mode. But I also have no attachment to his previous alt modes and was waiting for this specific line to start my first collection of seekers.

 

Any wave 2 sightings in canada yet?

 

I got caught up in the hype of finding Wave 2 Deluxes and Voyagers, I've got 3 Walmarts within 30 miles of me and checked them all plus the 1 Target on Friday morning, found nothing but disappointment. Late Friday night I checked Brickseek and see that the Walmart in my town has 7 Deluxes in stock when that morning they had nothing on the pegs. I've never had much luck with Brickseek accuracy and I was busy all day Saturday and didn't make time to check the store until after work Sunday, I walked in to find 1 lone Chromia left hanging on the pegs, I check Brickseek and they show "Limited Stock". So I bought the Chromia and decided to go on the hunt again and hit the other 2 Walmarts and the Target since Brickseek was showing a couple figures in stock at each store, found nothing but disappointment. I don't know when I'm going to learn to stop wasting all this time and gas searching for toys but I'm really frustrated with myself for doing so. On the bright side it seems the Brickseek accuracty for my local Walmart is on point as it updated to "Out of Stock" after I bought Chromia.

I absolutely love him. Hands down the most articulated main line seeker mold ever. Plus it's a tetrajet. Which is also a first. Plus that headsculpt is out of control good (Modern classic update for sure). Battle damage is boo boo though. Far to much of it.

 

I dunno its just not doing it for me, that said im not overly keen on the character so thats prob it. I still love the classics version (incidently the last Starscream I brought). I just feel against the other figures in this line it just doesnt look as good.

 

Man, dont know whats going on here in canada but nothing from wave 2 has hit yet. Nothing at walmart, toys r us or ebgames. Man, its getting frustrating! Really hope i start seeing them either this week or the next...

 

I might give that Soundwave pistol to Sideswipe, so he can keep his usual shoulder launcher configuration.

 

Starscream is my big winner for Wave 2. Dude poses great, the transformation is nice (outside of the chest flap which isn't that big of a deal for me) and looks great in both modes. The battle damage looks pretty rad to me as well. Only beat by Prime as the best figure in the line so far. Soundwave is nice too but not quite as fun and the alt mode is pretty uninspired considering who he is. I'd rather they just make him turn into a computer that vaguely resembles a boom box or something instead of always trying to force him to be a combat vehicle. Or at the very least make it a boxy vehicle with the chest door facing the front like the WFC game version or something.

 

I was using the shortest blaster included with CW Megs. That Soundwave part looks way better.

 

I'm beginning to think I should get some Battlemasters, if only for the effects.

 

Is it me or has has taken finally gave up on metal pins?starscresms chedt flap,Ironhide and soundwaves leg flaps all could have used the run a pin though method so kids don't loose their peices option.
