While I don't necessarily think Hasbro would've advertised this as a boombox mode, I do have to agree that Soundwave's arms are conspicuously absent. Not sure this can be pulled off without removing them.

Hmm...Jetfire looks a lot like a scaled down Fanstoys Phoenix. Springer kind of looks like a scaled down Fanstoys Apache. Maybe Has/Tak is turning the tables, and we’re reaping the benefits.

Was to late to pre order Soundwave on pulse but I got the cassettes. I hope they do more. I know they look a bit doofy (well Ravage does) but I’d like to see Frenzy, Rumble and Ratbat. I guess Buzzsaw would need to be included since they are two packs.

 

Been looking at product shots of Soundwave and given how the arms fold for transformation I think the boombox is do able without popping the arms off.

Not my picture. There's alot that's been said about the scale of this line. But, IMO using Ultra Magnus as an example, he looks great scale wise with Legends/Titans Return Hot Rod:

 

I think Magnus is a great size personally. I still need to get one. I chose Shockwave over him and haven’t seen him in retail since.
