Ohohoho, surprised I'm liking Smashdown's design a lot. Got two of Lionizer and like to dual wield melee weaponry. May do this with Smashdown as well haha~

Any cool weapon combos? I made Cog into a cool weapons backpack that fits best on Hound (so far), and then combined a few weapons to make a spear. 20190218_005957.jpg 20190218_005908.jpg

Mirage won because he was paired with Impactor. Impactor would have won whoever he was paired with.

No idea but toysrus canadas offerings on the web is poor. They never had magnus and shockwave online. What do you need there? I could help you out if needed.

Recently came across a picture showing that Soundwave can indeed basically hold a Boombox mode.

And Hound has no problem carrying all of that weight on his back? He can still stand properly, right?

I guess a few things im mostly liking in the siege line are above all else the general “rule” so far not to use stickers. I understand that stickers were used back in the day but in todays world there shouldnt be any especially for transformers and its finally nice to see a line that does not use them so far. I know stickers can be taken out but stickers believe it or not is one of the reasons i passed on a few toys from previous lines since they never look good imo and i know these are toys but their use made some look way too much like kids toys. We had seen vast improvements in other hasbro lines like marvel legends so its nice to finally see this being applied to transformers.

The other thing is the sculpted lines and details that just make it seem more realistic and gritty, i kinda compare it to the lines and intricate patterns and detailing we saw on the ships in the first two alien movies especially the nostromo and sulaco, which i have always been a fan of. Like starscream for example, you can clearly see the intricate patterns im referring to and also on omega supreme. Also, the preference for sculpted decepticon/autobot insignias on skyfire’s chest instead of stickers (from the videos we have seen to me it looks like theyre sculpted). Yes, we are paying a tad more for these but its all these little details that show me that hasbro is really trying to give us more for our money than we have seen in the past.

I got this set too. O rosme version of the. They're great.

I think what I'm going to end up doing is having these 3 guys in camera mode, since the sheer number of accessories will make for a better looking one, while having the Siege Reflectors in bot mode with my 1984 Decepticons.

Those are Transformers Adventure TAV-32 Frenzy / Rumble.

Transformers Adventure TAV-32 Rumble & Frenzy

    Rumble (WFC) - Transformers Wiki
    Frenzy (WFC) - Transformers Wiki
Adventure was the Takara version of RID.

The mold was originally intended for release with the Transformers 2010 line (around the same time as Generations 2.0 and HFTD) as a Scout class. But no retailers picked it up in favor of the 2011 Dark of the Moon line. In something that still remains absolutely insane to me, Hasbro never released them in any line, including Generations 2013/2014. They're excellent molds and they're just... sitting there.

Takara released them though, in 2011 as part of united. But they were hard to get and super expensive. As part of uniteed, the gold guns were painted silver, but the rest is the same.

Takara re-released them in 2015 for Transformers Adventure / RID to fill out the line. This made them easy to get and pretty cheap (less than half their original price). The ones I have are the Adventure ones.

I got the TR Rumble and the Bumblebee movie Frenzy version of the TR mold, but I don't use them in my display in favor of these guys. One reason is I also have Masterpiece Frenzy / Ruble with MP Soundwave, and they're similar enough it's repetitive. Another reason is that the TR mold's Pile Drivers are just... dumb... compared to this mold. And lastly the look is a bit more exotic and I just like the look better. They aren't cassetts anymore, but they got a lot of character.

Oh... what and thesy replaced these guys. Man, the pre Generations 3.0 times were dark.
