I had absolutely 0 interest in the Studio Series line up until this very moment. I may just have to grab that SS Optimus just to I can attach the blades to my WFC one when he arrives

Alright, this one was pretty fun and less time-consuming than the others...I think I've finally figured out the lighting in my room. I had so much fun working on this one that I didn't even realize it's 4:30 AM...agh, well, insomnia's not all bad. Oh, and I changed Energon Megatron's name to White Shadow because it gives him something unique to do...too many cool Megatron toys to not cast them as different characters. Anyhow, bed time.

I picked up Hound the other day and I’m very happy with him. He’s such a slick little toy and the detailing on him is nice too.

Loved the marvel comics and that was one of my favorite covers. They are the reason I’ve been a life-long shockwave fan.

 

Do we know that for sure? I feel like we’re only in the first year of Seige. Like the 1st 3rd of the line. Don’t these “themes” usually last ~2years+, give or take? I sure hope so. While I’ve been collecting Masterpieces over the last 10 years or so, I pretty much stayed out of the main lines until Titans Return. I went from buying a Skullcrucher on a whim to buying the entire line, which only got better as it wound down (talking to you, Terrorcons/Predacons) before grabbing Seige. I am in awe of the Siege line so far, outside of Masterpieces, its, in my opinion, HANDS DOWN the best mainline product in some time. They’re solid, intuitive, fun, look great, and I love the Cybertron modes/settings. It feels like Hasbro really put a lot of love into these, they’re like little Masterpieces.

THAT said, it would be a shame if they didn’t give us at least the few Cybertronian modes we’ve seen before, mainly Wheeljack, Bumblebee, and Jazz. I don’t care if they update them a little, but that’s what I’d really like to see. From what we’ve seen thus far, the line does seem to be skewing into the classic/nostalgic characters but we know they’re introducing at least one new character (Barricade, who seems to be taking after the movieverse character). If I were planning this line, I’d like to throw in a few ‘bots that we never got to see before (because they either got left behind or straight up murdered before boarding the Ark). It’s be neat to see a Roller based on the IDW comic, or a Hauler, or even characters based on Diaclone colors of the original G1ers. I’d also want to see a new combiner, but then we still must have a Skorponok. People, the world is wide open, the “lien” is a thing of beauty, and all of our dreams are coming true.

I agree, it does tend to pop on the darker colored characters. Also, Ultra Magnus with that deep blue chest.

Also, Shockwave looks great because Shockeave doesn’t get his hands dirty that often. He lives above the fray.

 

War for cybertron is an over arching trilogy. Siege is the first line of the trilogy. When I said wheeljack won’t be in this line it meant he won’t be in siege. He lost the fan vote, if he’s in the current line then it would expose the fan vote as something that is rigged and doesn’t actually matter. This by logical deduction wheeljack will not see a release before the second line in the trilogy

 

Ah, here’s a question, have we seen the entire first line yet? (I’m not arguing we’re seeing him in any number line, I’m just wondering).
