You don't have to believe that the detail is a spark chamber if you don't want, its just something I saw that made sense to me. A hidden spark chamber has been sculpted on various figures for a long time and all the spark chambers so far have similar details. A circle split by a toothed line.

Besides Siege Ultra Magnus and Galaxy Prime, here's some other examples.

    CW Megatron:

    MP Ironhide:

    MP Tracks (behind his window):

Again, this isn't something new. It seems unlikely to me that they would just put the same kind of detail (a circle split with a toothed line) on Magnus for no reason when he is being remolded into Galaxy Convoy.

yea i prefer the current scale if it was by the PotP the deluxes like sideswipe and hound would need to be the size on sieges optimus prime.

Not sure if this has already been asked, but does siege soundwave have a hidden tape deck mode? Really excited for that figure, but I'm not overly fond of that 'spaceship' mode...

I really wish they would have ditched the whole cybertronian alt mode bs. My love for Prime is so bitter sweet. Lol. Its awesome all around but why couldn't they just given us a regular cab. Same with that ultra mangnus. If he had a regular cab, I would have bought him with shockwave no questions asked.

Siege has been amazing so far. Just irritated we didn't get OG characters like this xD hopefully they are just fleecing us and will re release some of these guys in their proper alt modes.

Yeah that's why I haven't fully jumped aboard siege yet. While the robots look utterly fantastic, I'm still not sold on these cybertronian modes... I've considered getting prime and Megatron on numerous occasions, but could never really pull the trigger. And with prime it kinda hurts because he looks so similar to his G1 cab, but it's like they added in some extra bits just to make it 'cybertronian'. Might be cool for others, but it isn't my thing personally

Will probably end up getting soundwave still regardless because he's my favorite G1 character :p

i personally never cared for their vehicle mode . would be sweet if one line just straight up ditches it, and i mean like this size of a line. but thats just me i guess.

I like the modularity of Chromias gun but i think im just going to use the long barrel/scope piece as a suppressor and see if i can store the other 2 blue pieces on her as grenades

The reviewer's use of a text-to-speech device and lack of use of a spellchecker was off-putting. And are we sure that's not somehow mistransformed? The backpack seems much larger than it's appeared to be in other photos.

This just popped up in my recommended videos. She looks good but my god is she kibble city. Also I feel like her legs have to be slightly mistransformed, I'm pretty sure the junk hanging off is supposed to go the other way but this way actually looks better but hinders movement. I really wish they could figure out a way to do the fembots justice without them being shellformers with copious amounts of egregious kibble.

Yeah its a little annoying but i appreciate the effort he put so that us english speakers can mostly understand his reviews. It seems he's really taken the criticism from his ss-38 prime review to heart and is really making good improvements to his channel.

I think that may be the single siege figure I have no intention of picking up.

I really thought we had moved away from ball jointed hips, those things looked rather floppy. Plus all that kibble should be able to do more.

I do totally dig the gun though.

Went looking for Deluxes at my local Target tonight, which finally started doing their reset. They got the pegs and the shelf space ready for Siege, but still no Deluxe figures. They did have some BotBot 8-pks out which I got one of those. Oh.......and I found this guy too.

Hot freaking damn!!! I got a Shockwave baby! Screw all the scale chatter and size ratios. For me, this guy was worth the $50. Look at the detailing on this mad scientist. The plastic feels great, his joints are tight yet fluid. I briefly owned a secondhand G1 Shockwave several years ago, never got the MP. This guy is the best version of Shockwave I’ve ever seen or owned, period.

And the light piping in this cyclops is just freaking awesome. It’s his best detail, as it should be given the character.

I’m actually even impressed by the Shocktopus armor. It looks much better in person and is extremely versatile. Lots of different C.O.M.B.A.T. configurations to be made with a little imagination.

“Capsized submarine” mode is definitely a welcome touch. An excellent throwback to his G1 self.

If anything looks Cybertronian in this line it’s this spaceship. Shockwave turns into a ship straight out of old school anime/live action sci-fi. A beautiful fusion of so many different forms that you just can’t avert your eyes. This looks like something worthy of a formidable space pirate.

The light piping from the control tower is a nice touch as well. Just a stunning display of design and engineering, this iteration of Shockwave is highly recommended for any fan’s collection.
Oh and speaking of space pirates..........

This kinda looks space piratey, right?! Surprise, enjoy! Shockwave is awesome!

Makes no sense, cause there are several voyager Optimus options which fit in better in the much superior pre-siege size-system.

Got my Shockwave from RobotKingdom today...
Gonna need more than rubbing alcohol to get rid of molded in battle damage.
