LOL. Yes, it won't. Was just wondering if the Netflix head looks more appropriate as far as size and shape.

Very quick and rough edit I just made from a screenshot of PvP's review. If the ball joints are compatible, I think the switch will look good, even with the different shade of yellow

Got the Reflector/Refraktor Recon 3-pack. Should arrive in a few days.

Now I’ll have six Reflectors. Spectro, Spyglass, and Viewfinder and 3 lookalikes to be whoever I want them to be. I also want to replicate that scene from the cartoon where there is a bunch in a row. Granted there was seven of them, not six but I’m okay being one short.

Army building the Decepticons is fun. I see the Reflectors as their security force. Who act as sentries and scouts.

Thanks. I forgot about him, so many characters to keep track of, but looking at the prices one eBay for him I think I'm going to have to wait.

I never really army-built before but would get a few of a same mold if it was interesting. I got the Refraktor set on a whim as I didn't really want to spend over a 100$ for such, but I cracked and did get it anyways and after a bit I was glad I did. I got a purple standard one on sale and now regret not grabbing the Netflix version when I could have.

Like you, I see them as the general worker bees, that do the sentry, guards and such, but also as the medics as the Decepticons don't really have any "official" ones.

    They also love to dance:

Including the coffin dance while carrying the injured

I love the versatility they have, with the spaceship mode to be my favourite:

And for army building, thanks to a sale that made me run to a few Walmarts, I managed to get a few extra of this guy that is crazy amazing for army building:

The Reflectors also arguably count as their (Light) Infantry. The Decepticons are mainly an air force with the Seekers who are the Airborne/Elite Mooks to the Reflectors' Common Mooks.

On the head cannon thread I went into this a bit with a breakdown of who I consider the G1 Decepticons' "Main Army" (84-86, with some 87-88 like the other Cassettes). Specifically in Ultimate Doom Part 3 what might have been several Reflectors in their Cybertron vehicle modes would pursue the Bots. Spike called them "watchdogs" which fits with their surveillance function.

The Cons' common 'ground forces' are split between the Reflectors and (after the Devastation game) the Battlechargers (who are the shock troops). Though given that game was set in the G1 Cartoon I think the Battlechargers would of been a new addition to their army since the Autobots were the ones "ruling the road' till Megatron made the Stunticons to counter that. The idea here being the Battlechargers were them expanding on the concept. Given that the known Battlechargers Runamuck and Runabout are troublemaking morons they were probably recruited from the same detention center the Combaticons were held in. Freedom if they pledge or re-pledge their loyalty to the Decepticons.

Ignoring the tank Battlechargers from the game (who also don't have toys anyways) the Decepticons don't have any traditional heavy infantry army builders for us to use. However, Brunt does work well for that role.

Not really. Just as long as it has its peg to plug in.

I think I’m good with just six Reflectors. 3 to be the old cartoon version who all looked alike. 3 to be to be the toy version who have distinctive color schemes and have their own names.

I know TFWiki calls them the Photons but I prefer to call them the Reflectors and they’re led by Viewfinder, Spectro, and Spyglass. The lookalikes are just called Reflector because no one bothers to learn their actual names.

they’re the most basic Decepticon grunt and I love them for it

Now I just need Sunstorm and Bitstream and I’ll have my Seeker squadron (an aircraft squadron can be as small as 12 and large as 24) Maybe they’ll be an exclusive two-pack? One can only hope. If not maybe I’ll buy two random Siege Seekers and customize them.

anyone have advice how to do that? Is There a thread to help with customizing figures?

I don't know why but I prefer to army build the bad guys over the good guys. Anyone else feel that way?

Pretty normal/standard. Bad guys are the army/military and the good guys are the underdog resistance type so more about the individuals instead of the nameless/faceless bad guys that the good guys take down by the dozens.
