He does here with those official images.
I loooove that packaging look.
So, I was just thinking....would it be cool if someone, 3P or HasTak, made a trailer for Siege Optimus Prime, based on his G1 trailer, but with Cybertronian design and detailing. It could open up to become a Master (Micro/Battle/Prime/Titan) with a repair bay, computers, and turrets all compatible with the Masters. This would probably work best with the Battlemasters and Micromasters, and hopefully have compatible seats since they lack ports on their feet.
I feel that this would not only be awesome in general, but could set the precedent as to why Optimus Prime has a trailer on Earth, seeing as all media for all pre-Earth Optimus's (Optimii?) are never seen with a trailer. While I doubt that HasTak would release something like this, perhaps it could be an exclusive, or a third party can tackle the project. I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
Just a thought.
I think that would be VERY cool.
There IS a Leader Class Optimus that's thought to belong to Siege. In all honesty, that makes no sense. But we do know the vibe with the Leaders are "beefed up/armored Voyagers". With the pushing of play sets and bases in Titans Return, I wouldn't be surprised if the leader Prime was a Siege Optimus with a beefy base/armor trailer.
Thanks makes perfect sense, but is so redundant. We already have a recent Powermaster Prime, and Evolution Prime (who sets the standard for the gimmick that Ultra Magnus and Shockwave are following), and already have a Voyager Optimus Prime in Siege. Personally, I would not be surprised if this supposed Leader Optimus is a Galaxy Convoy or RID2000 update. Both Galaxy Force/Cybertron Optimus Prime and RID2000 are a perfect fit for the Leader gimmick in Siege, and could be a remold from Siege Ultra Magnus. Siege Ultra Magnus is already a reference to RID2000 Ultra Magnus' vehicle mode. If they made the Leader Optimus a remold of UM, then perhaps you could give him UM parts to make Omega Prime!
This line has so much potential for clever references and easter eggs (the Brunt one caught everyone off guard and is amazing). Who knows what HasTak has up their sleeves for the end of this line, or the other 2 WFC lines. Just think....what if they made the Leader or Voyager Optimus Prime able to combine with Titan Omega Supreme to reference the super mode in UT Energon?! So much potential, but is HasTak smart/bold enough to do something like that? I don't believe so, but this line already far exceeds my expectations, so only time and Warden can tell, and he causes more confusion than answers questions in my opinion.
What if the leader is a simplified Prime with a trailer that works with the voyager figure?
I’m still hoping for a Star Convoy inspired figure or Delta Magnus.
I'm hoping we get a star Saber with the "evolution" gimmick.
The battle damage looks rather toned down in many places. And the other spots it looks easy to clean up. Very nice.
They look good! Megatron's hella beefy, he looks like he takes Prime's lunch money on a regular basis.
"Give me your lunch money, book nerd!!!"
May I ask the origin of this information that there is a Leader class WFC-S OP ?
The fact that these are in package makes me happy. Ship them out; I need to re-do my desk at work!
Does anyone know if these Siege figures will come with collector cards? I love cards
Need those preorders!
You are not wrong at all, and the fact Optimus has a leader listing is a little diss-heartening thinking of all the characters we need, when I just got a perfectly good Leader sized Optimus, and a Ginrai/Power Master Prime. But if we were to get an updated RID I wouldn't mind one bit.
I'll see if I can't find it, but something in some computer listings. I believe I read about it in the Siege speculation thread. There is some debate though if it's a Siege leader class or a Studio Series leader class.
Ah, yes I recall something like that, an amazon listing or something like that but the author was unsure
I'm just joking.
BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?!11?
I don't know about all of you, but i cant wait to get my hands on the weaponizer deluxe figures and just go to fuckin town. Ive never been so excited for parts-formers. (insert the usual blah blah parts-forming blah blah "but its ok because the characters doing it" spiel)
Cog and the rumored Sixgun are great and all, but you cant really army build those. Brunt on the other hand.... oooooh boy, all I know is that Im gona need like 10 of him (Brunt) and Im gonna make a godamn combiner abomination out of them and it will be glorious.
You can definitely army build Cog and Sixgun! I have the B&A Sixgun and will get SND's Cog - the Hasbro ones will be their drones. It's going to be great
