Today I visited 4 Walmarts, 4 Meijers and 4 Targets looking forn the Earthrise Seeker two pack, a studio series Sentinel Prime, or maybe something from Siege on clearance that would interest me. None of those things happened. However, something far more exciting did happen... I came across a Siege Jetfire! I never would have believed I'd find him in stores at this point. He was a figure I had considered purchasing, but ultimately cheaped out. I knew I shouldn't make that same mistake twice. It was a heck of a lot of time and a fair amount of gas, but it was totally worth it.

 

First time I've posted in this channel...but I fared to the forbidden land of Walmart......and found a Scrapface......I'm about to mess with him as we speak.

 

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but did you all hear that John Warden is leaving the TF brand?

 

Yeup......kinda surprised we're right now ending a reign of what felt like a never ending G1-slog fest.

 

So will he be at the helm for any of Kingdom?

 

After Kingdom he will be moved to the development of Power Rangers

He was memed for always being the pro-Geewunner. But Kingdom is his last hurrah....At least next few years we can do some experimenting.

 

I don't know... I do know that I like the TF's that I own, many (all, of the offical at any rate) of which he and his team designed.

 

Fitting that now that he's gone Beast Wars can finally get some limelight, like four years too late. :-/

 

Look I'm not gonna bash someone for liking G1. I just got sick of it after a while. It cool to sometimes go back to basics and bring in new fresh fans but for me...it was feelin it. Yeah I got MOST of what I could get from Siege but it just wasn't kickin it once Earthrise came out.

If you can get Scrapface...go get him. He's a true blue genericon in the best way possible, plus he's gonna be a fun army builder. I will post more pics with his fellow co-hort Mirage.
