The front grill and bumper wrap around the top and through the open cab windows. In bot mode the front bumper and grill is stored in the Windvane on his back. The chest opens because it has to for transformation, but it still cool that it opens, might fit a folded up TM anyway.

Yeah, the Matrixes should have had a 5mm port on each side. Oh well. :/

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it looks like Shockwave may have lights? The part that makes the front of his vehicle and is backpack in robot mode has a clear plastic end. Why I think it may have light is because the extra part that attaches to that area has clear plastic that lines up with it, and what appears to be more clear plastic on the sides (little squares). It definitely looks like a light gimmick is possible, the way the clears line up.

Wondering if hasbro could consider a seige turbomaster boss as an exclusive
Retool of potp p/cp. Dinobot Snarl has the right idea with his digibash all he needs is some battle worn paint. Or maybe takara could do boss kind of like what there doing with legends big powered but they call after his Japanese release Mach road

Dem Megatron and Prime figures look like studio series grade figures from all those points in articulation and the detail. Shit I got like 1200 Megatrons and Optimus Primes might as well get these guys that I'm glad are Wave 1. Can't wait for Ironhide and Brunt for Wave 2 as well.

Oh man, I see what you mean. Sadly I think if that was a feature, they would be eager to show it off. Maybe they're going to try? It would be a decent trade off for the suspected 'down-sizing' of this Leader class. But regardless, this Shockwave is my most anticipated figure in yeeeears, by a long shot. My boy finally got his Classics toy. :D :D :D

I may be alone in this opinion, but I really like Optimus Prime's new alt mode. After G1, Bayverse, Classics, and IDW designs, this one feel a bit fresher, and more importantly, ready for actual battle. This alt mode does scream pre-Earth red semi, lending to the notion that the Earth mode choices were picked based on the closest thing to their Cybertronian modes. Of course that theory goes straight out the window with Soundwave, Reflector, and possibly Megatron (I seriously doubt he was just a gun on Cybertron), I mean, what was Teletraan 1 thinking?!

Honestly, I don't have a problem with Prime's alt mode either. I honestly think it looks good and I can't wait to have them this December. Only two months left... time to save my money for this entire wave. :rock

Very well could just be how things line up and it's coincidental. Although not as seemingly, Ultra Magnus looks like he could sport the gimmick as well with how the armor lays over his chest, still keeping the translucent pieces exposed. Time will tell, I'm very excited.

So I've been curious about what everyone's thoughts are on the new Flywheels compared to the very well received Battletrap. Are we happy that Flywheels is a single robot that splits into two vehicles or would you have preferred like Battletrap for him to have been two Legends class robots/vehicles that combine to form a Deluxe class robot?

Either way is fine with me. Battletrap obviously ends up having a little more playability since he's three robots in one, but I doubt anyone really utilizes Battleslash and Roadtrap. I'm just happy we get yet another Scavenger and Flywheels looks so good. I'll have to retire my makeshift Flywheels made of Skytread and Quake, but I'm okay with that. Now I'm just praying for Spinister.

I think he is fine the way is. Battletrap was great but hindered, not helped by the 2 bot models. No individual bot modes works just fine for TR Overlord, who's even bigger, I see no reason we can't be happy with Flywheels being the same way.

I think he looks a ton better not being bogged down with two separate robot modes.

I applaud how well Battletrap was done but would have preferred a deluxe guy with one bot mode so he could have had blue arms and a weapon.

I just wish there were still a Wheeljack planned for war for cybertron. Just seems like after he lost the fan vote, it feels like any plans for him in the trilogy are scrapped.

Scrapped? We haven't even seen all of the first third of the trilogy but you're convinced there won't be a Wheeljack at all in three lines? There's two whole lines behind this one, I'm sure he'll be in there somewhere.

Remember, this is just the first part, and I believe it was acknowledged that the knew Wheeljack was important in the first episode. It would be stupid to not him and Bumblebee seeing as they were the only Autobot Cybertronian modes we saw in the first episode. Be patient is all I'm saying.

    That's the problem.
It would have been better to get the 84 done with in Siege, so we can move on in the next sublines.
