Love your photo's as mentioned earlier they really bring back that commercial vibe and are all around lots of fun. Your diorama props work great and the photos themselves really pop. There are several of you guys on the threads who can really take some lovely shots, thanks for sharing.

 

A complete surprise showed up on my doorstep today, apparently a relative ordered this guy for me for Christmas and didn't realize what a pre-order was! Weirdly enough, I was planning on ordering him from Amazon tonight to ensure I have Snapdragon's partner...who I also pre-ordered the day before. Weird, but cool. I don't mind the white plastic used at all, the only thing I dislike about him are the forearm gaps. I even like the brick-ish jet mode. I sanded down the shield peg to ensure it doesn't get stuck and snap off.

 

Or pre-order Hotlink, call him "Skywarp", and call it a day.

So with Netflix to have siege figures recolored I guess the thread will liven back up a bit not far down the road. Laughing at myself BOTH my boys got their own Megatron already .. oldest thinks either the new Netflix one or Earthrise option are what he'd like to switch out to. However the rest of the redeco's didn't get much of a reaction from either of them, though the show may change that.

 

I went from not wanting to buy stuff to now having on preorder three scrapfaces (yes, the third take on the mold is what finally convinced me to buy it) and a Hotlink, someone help my poor bank account. At least I have basically all my collecting either preordered or in my possession for the year.

How do you fix the floppy ankle issue on Megatron?

 

So I’m highly considering getting that Netflix megs when he comes out, but does his fusion cannon have a 5mm port in the barrel to attack more guns? Especially that enslaved target master he comes with?

You could just leave it alone. I'm hoping ER Megatron has real ankle joints as opposed to Siege but doesn't look like it so far based on the render pics.

There's too much of a gap for floor polish to work effectively (you would need to use a lot of it and may still not work afterward).

I haven't tried this myself on Siege Megatron, but I've tightened up joints non-destructively on other figures via electrical tape. However, you would need to dismantle the joint to do this.

In this case, you would have to remove the pin to undo the ankle joint. Fortunately, you can see which end of the pin is the knurled end. Always push on the smooth side of the pin (opposite of the knurled end) with your pin removing device of choice. Cut out small circles or squares of black electrical tape and poke a hole in the center. (I "cheat" and use a cricut machine to cut out exact shapes from electrical tape.) You may need more than 1 layer of tape on both sides of the ankle piece depending on tape thickness / gap width. Put the electrical tape pieces over the pin holes on the ankle piece and align with the holes in the center of the tape pieces. Then you put the joint back together and the pin will go through the middle of the tape pieces and stay in place. You can test fit and see if you need more layers of tape before pushing the knurled pin end fully back in.

The last figure I used electrical tape on was MP Grimlock. Now he doesn't flop around anymore.

was playing around with my voyager optimus and found out that the left hinge that takes the back wheels to the other side broke feelsbadman he was my fav optimus im gonna hold on to him tho it doest look too bad im not gonjna replace him until he disintegrates

Are you talking about the battle masters that come with megs and hot link? If so yes. I want them, especially the ones from megs’ box.
