IMO, the quality of Shapeways 3D printing leaves a lot to be desired.

 

Siege brought me into collecting transformer toys as a 25yo man. I may replace some figures in the future but this line will always have a special place in my heart.

 

Not on that specific gun, although it kind of looks strange having the trigger there with so much space above the peg/handle. So when he's holding it, it would be forever un-firable. That would bother me, but it may not bother you or others. Shapeways... ehh, I've had good and bad experiences with them, not horror stories, just things didn't turn out as nice as they looked in the renderings.

Ratchet - "I've gone over Skyfire top to bottom, it looks like he has a built in flip switch. Instead of on and off it has Autobot and Decepticon!"

Optimus Prime - "So what are saying? By the flick of a switch he can become that genocidal monster again?"

Ratchet - "Essentially yes! I applied a cohesive to lock it in place"

Optimus Prime - "Keep the switch info to yourself. I don't want anyone else to know how to easily turn our strongest Autobot into a cold unfeeling killing machine"

Ratchet - "You, Skyfire and I are the only ones that know about it. If anyone asks I'll just say his circuits were corrupted by Decepticon tampering"

Sideswipe - "Optimus! The others are back and they brought Megatron and the Decepticons with them!"

Optimus Prime - "Really? I'll be right there"

Optimus Prime - "Is Skyfire ok otherwise for duty?"

Ratchet - "He's pretty broken up about it"

Optimus Prime - "Go talk to him, see what you can do"

Ratchet - "Ok, but I'm a doctor not a shrink"

Optimus Prime - "Megatron!"

Megatron - "Prime, we must pool our resources to face this new threat!"

Optimus Prime - "I agree!"

Shockwave - "First we must understand why our weapons were useless against those creatures"

Ultra Magnus - "Yes, it was almost...magical wasn't it?"

Cyclonus - "What are you implying?"

Ultra Magnus - "Well if it is magical, which it sure looks like it too me, then we'd have to go see you know who!"

Optimus Prime - "Oh no! You don't mean...."

Megatron - "They are so insufferable!'

Cyclonus - "And endlessly insulting!"

Ultra Magnus - "Its the only way no matter how condescending they are!"

Optimus Prime - "Well you know what they said last time! Only first and second in commands of our armies can talk too them now"

Megatron - "So Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, and you and I have to go on a trek to see them"

Optimus Prime - "I'm going to see if Windcharger has any stashed booze first, maybe if I'm drunk I can stand listening to them go up and down us"

Megatron - "Make sure you bring enough for the rest of us Prime!"
