Wow I guess I can count myself as lucky with Spinister and Apeface.... I have Ratbat to but still wish he didn't come with that poor excuse of a FRumble (which I probably should've just given to a Nephew or donated to Toys for Tots last month). Crosshairs, Barricade and Astrotrain were all passes...

Still don't have Rung yet, but to be fair I wasn't really looking that hard for'em. I'll grab him eventually but characters like him would've kept Legends class alive IMO.

Don't sand that peg! You need to sand out the hole it goes in. It can also clip onto the canopy and will open and close if that hole it goes in get a little widening. But ya that shield is super fragile. If you want to repair it, I suggest using JB weld Plastic weld epoxy. Its all I have been using to fix broken toys. It fuses the plastic back together and its a strong bond.

If you sand the peg, it will fall off the other holes, like where you plug the shield onto the arm.

So much hate on youtube for Apeface. IMHO he's THE best voyager in the line. Most versatile. Springer is my number 2. I posted pics and stuff way back in this thread for apeface.

Appreciate the helpful advice! Unfortunately you might be able to tell from the pic, but I had to completely mangle that bottom part of the peg to get it out from the 5mm port in Apeface's back. I don't think there's enough of it left that isn't too stretched or cracked to be of any use at this point. Perhaps I can find another 5mm peg somewhere to try this with, though.

The shield is supposed to fit into the hole in his elbow, not shoulder or forearm. I cut the peg short to try to "fix" something that wasn't even a problem and now I can't plug it into the right hole.

Custom probably. I really dig the red hips. I did something similar, but need to do the hips red like that.

At least the peg broke in a way that there is just enough of it left to fit in place, but I'll definitely have to replace it if I want to save a ton of future aggravation.

Either way, here is some Bruntface goodness to help me feel better about the situation:

Was at walmart in scarborough ontario today. They had a display pallet of all the siege wave 5 deluxe, voyager, and leader figures. All fresh and hardly touched. I got a crosshairs. I just liked the paint apps too much. It was the location at golden mile for anyone in the area looking for an astrotrain or spinister. They also had the G1 reissue Astrotrain and want $69.98 CAD for it. Funny that the siege one is the same price. Die cast is pricey I guess.

You should check some walmarts. Someone else in another forum posted that the same display pallet is at a wally in Milton. So I am sure that the hammer or burly wally's will get one too. r u a member of the other sight that has ontario TF sightings in their forum? If not, u should be. :)
