Ultra Magnus - "You joined the Decepticons killed Megatron and Shockwave and took them over, any of this ringing a bell?"

Skyfire - "No nothing, well at least the Autobot Decepticon war ended with me in charge of the Decepticons. Because I'd never hurt my Autobot friends"

Ultra Magnus - "Um, well...not exactly, you killed Prime, Sixgun, Mirage, Sideswipe, Beachcomber, Blurr..."

Skyfire - "No! Say this isn't true!"

Ultra Magnus - "You beat Hotrod to death with his own arm and also shot Rodimus Prime in the face"

Skyfire - "How could I commit such atrocities"

Ultra Magnus - "You wore a mask and called yourself Jetfire, you stacked the bodies of your victims into a pile and took pictures of it"

Skyfire - "The Autobots must hate me"

Ultra Magnus - "I never heard anyone say they hate you. Heard you're a traitor, maniac, loonitic, murderer, Hitler, a waste of plastic....."

Skyfire - "Ok I get it"

Ultra Magnus - "Come on, lets find the others"

Siege Megatron up close:
This is the only Siege figure that I bought to not make into my my main display. I like him alright, but taking pictures of him really revealed the limitations of what his articulation will allow while still looking natural. It's not a lot, mostly because of his limited ankle tilt and very basic arm articulation. I'm also not a huge fan of the forearm gaps, mostly because I feel like that sword could've been smaller to allow for a flap to hide the hollowness. On the plus side, his sculpt is great. I'm looking forward to the Earthrise version of Megatron in the hopes that it's another G1 Megatron, but done with slightly better articulation.

It's Rung week!

As a card carrying member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I couldn't help but love Rung. I know some folk liked to rag on Roberts for allegedly creating a self insert character, nevermind the fact this character turned out to be god, but I thought he was a well written character and a great addition to the mythos.

Pure shite as a therapist though.

Potentially a bit of a random request, but as I don't have either of these figures I'm looking to the community for a wee bit of help. Can anyone who owns both these take a photo of a fully armoured up Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime, with as many of Cog's weaponiser bits added on, next to Siege Jetfire?

After seeing someone suggest that Modulators could be redone as Hook, Line, and Sinker from Furman's US G1 run my mind is full of 'Matrix Quest' and I'm trying to figure out how well a hypothetical WfC Leader class Powermaster Optimus Prime with add on Apex Weaponiser armour might scale against a Commander class Thunderwing. @smf2045 or @Yaujta help out an old G1 obsessive with an appetite for speculation?

IIRC the dual tape/combiner types were associated with him, such as Beastbox/Squaktalk and the dino cassettes (both the combining and non-combining ones), and Twincast had Grandslam and the autobot dino combiner tapes (still pissed about the G1 reissues of the dinocassettes on Hasbropulse btw).

So, here's hoping we get more of the cassettes/shields in the next two parts of the WFC trilogy, because it would be a shame to only get the four we have now.

 

I was expecting Sixgun today but it instead of being delivered to me the package is going back and forth between my local post office and a sorting centre so I can't even go there and pick him up. But the letters were delivered as usual.
