Yeah they're working wrong. There's literally no place where I can buy Skywarp now other than 200$+shipping on Ebay and places like Amazon.de never had any stock. After 4 months of waiting for my pre-order I was told that they're still trying to get it and I can cancel my pre-order at any moment if I want   I have no clue how is that a good marketing strategy - there're probably hundreds of people like me willing to give Hasbro their money but the company don't want to take it.
And soon we'll have Earthrise Skywarp so many potential customers may give up on that Phantomstrike pack already...

I don't hate "Exclusives". I just hate when retail stores like Walgreen's releases them..... I've only bought 3 out of the 4 they've released (skipped that Wreck-Gar) and out of the 3 I did get, 2 of them had to be ordered from the Walgreen's Website, which they con you into buying $35 worth of stuff in order to avoid paying like $6 on shipping.

I get that in the earlier years of collecting CHUG figures, exclusives were considered a blessing since the understanding was that if for instance TRU didn't release that CLASSICS Constructicon set (Looks crappy now but there were no other Combiners back then) then we wouldn't have gotten them at all. I think the G1 reissue of Soundwave was a TRU exclusive to which IMO fit in with my Classic figures. So those were the bright side of having exclusives (provided they weren't hard to find) whereas overpriced Botcon exclusives where the biggest down side's for me.

Today though, there's a higher demand for CHUG figures, so exclusives don't feel as much like a favor for collectors as they do the Retail store or website getting a highly popular TF figure that you end up having to fight for. Wal-Mart and Target aren't too bad, but Walgreen's and Amazon exclusives (May Mayhem) are a different animal.

If only it shipped to my location   but thank you, that gives some hope that they are still available somewhere.

 

Without question it's been getting worse every year now whatever you collect. There's so many ways it goes wrong for the customer.

Store exclusives that are bought up by scalpers if they hit your area at all. Then you're dependent on Hasbro and the store sorting a restock.

Timed exclusives where the same thing happens and you usually overpay in the first instance just in case you can't get the thing later.

Online and store exclusives that are so overpriced everyone waits for a sale, then people buy multiples either out of sheer disbelief or for scalping. By the time you get there it's too late. And in the case of Amazon, it would seem US stock is being shipped around the world when it looked like they couldn't shift their Siege exclusives. Until the price dropped to something a bit more sensible.

The worst for all of it is Funko Pops, but that's it's own rant lol

 

I really this Siege and PW3 toys work well together.

 

I would buy that astrotrain if it drops in price when hes released in earth rise

 

There's a high likelihood of TC and Skywarp getting the retool treatment of ER Starscream's mold but I honestly hope that the Conehead trio are priority.

Also give Sunstorm some overdue love to. Him and the Coneheads are the only 4 Seekers I need. Unless they give Slipstream some Voyager class love to.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but how do siege Thundercracker and PoTP Starscream look together? Now that I have Thundercracker I want to get his “brothers” but I’d like to have them be a little different outside of color and facial expression.

 

Those big bubble feet and Popeye arms made PotP Starscream the worse looking CHUG version there is of him IMO. Plus if you're fond of scale, having a doofy Starscream that towers over SIEGE Megatron and Prime wouldn't be that appealing either.

Nevertheless, if you scroll back to around April and May you might see some pictures that have PotP Starscream with SIEGE SEEKERS in here somewhere.

 

I don’t really bot mode scale as long as the figures look nice together, and besides I need some more big cons in general since both my leader figures are Autobots lol.

Yeah, Skywarp makes me want to spend less money.

I bought Thundercracker because he’s long been my favorite seeker, and probably one of my favorite characters. I was at Target today and had a chance to buy the Rainmakers on clearance. I’ve had multiple opportunities to buy Starscream on the cheap. I won’t do it. I know as soon as I do I’ll want to have a full set of Siege seekers and I just can’t afford Skywarp. So Thundercracker is it for me.

Shame too, as I passed on Redwing for the same reason. I’m not going to have 6 of 7 seekers. Or 2 of the 3 seekers. I’ll go insane.
