I'm absolutely terrible at painting fine details like facial features, so probably not.

 

Astrotrain arrived today and I rather enjoy him! I'm at work now so I'll probably post some pics tomorrow. I really like him. Just a solid chunk of pure Decepticon bruiser. I was actually kind of impressed by how dense and heavy he is, even the coal car has more weight to it than I had imagined. I do have a slight issue getting the 2 grey shell halves to sit flush together so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or there's a slight clearance issue somewhere. I had noticed the nub marks on him are worse than I usually see on a figure of this kind. I might have to break out my Gunpla tools and wear them down.

 

I had to resort to getting Springer on eBay. The shipping cost and import charges are killing me.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for my Spinister, Astrotrain, and Thrilling 30 Arcee to get here.

 

Just grabbed Sixgun on Aliexpress for about 14,70$. It will probably take another month to arrive but the price was good  

 

I'm finding the prices online quite expensive, my local Smyths toy store has the cheapest prices

 

Yup, £17 a deluxe if you can actually find them. For availability Amazon is usually the best.

I have to add a +1 to the compliments - your pictures and photography just keep getting better!

 

As I have a stronger preference towards Bayverse Crosshairs over G1 Crosshairs (Some may say Bayverse Crosshairs isn't exactly likable, but at least he is more of an actual character with a distinct personality that whoever G1 Crosshairs was), I gave Siege Cog's dual blasters to my Siege Crosshairs to give him a look more reminiscent of his Bayverse incarnation.

Is there any way to push in this metal rod? His knee is really loose and I was wondering if this would tighten it.

 

Goodness, thankyou for this. Its become my daily hobby ever since my first post on here some time ago last year, I just love doing it.

 

Just get some Pledge, drop in a drop on two without making a mess, work it in the joint a bit, give it 12 to 24 hours to dry, and your joint will be 10 times better, just snug, without the chance of breaking it.

I did it for my Datsun brothers and the knees are like new, but better as even after a bit of play, they are still better than when new.
