I'd have to describe it as "just more G1" and less about "perfect" humanoid shape.

So far, it's Optimus and Starscream that are remakes for Earthrise that's been announced . Personally for me, for OP it's the trailer that wish that Siege OP would have had, and that's my biggest draw to getting the Earthrise version. He does look amazing and with less kibble and better transformation, but part of me is thinking that I already have a decent Prime (with Siege) and hate that this is a bit of a conflict to spend more money on another version so close to getting the Siege one. Starscream... I believe it's a pass for me as while it does have appeal, it's too close to the generation version, the lack of waist articulation is a huge nope for me, and I absolutely love the Siege one(s) (all the main seekers).

Should they remade any other figure, they'd have to seriously "wow" me to even consider.. and each one they would remake, would kinda piss me off about the fact that they should work of new molds for all the missing characters instead.

The only thing I've not liked with Siegge are the multiple unneeded repaints, but for the molds/figures themselves, I can't really say that there's a single bad one... the worst I'll say (and will always say to Hasbro) is the freaking gaps that are seriously annoying with some figures would be so much better if Hasbro would spend the extra 5 cents in plastic to close the gaps up.

Good luck for Twin Twist.. I missed it when he came out (and shelfwarmed for a while until they all suddenly disappeared), and took me a year to find one that wasn't 2-3 times the price.

Glad to hear that you got a good copy... I did hope for a reprint at some point that would have fixed all the glitches, but now, I consider the moment passed and will be looking towards the Earthrise version instead.

About 2 weeks for me here in Canada... and one part was missing (left side part I believe), and they send a replacement within a few days (including an extra part as they didn't want to screw it up so got both the left and right side pieces. So awesome service! Getting ready to get a few more things from them.

I ended up getting a few extras for the blast effects, when they go on sale or liquidation.

Note that with FireDrive (or recolours), you can take the cannons section apart (cutting the central parts holding them together and squeezing the part to make to fit to turn them into shoulder cannons for Prowl or others...





and with a bit of paint to make them even better.


Same for Red Alert but requires a bit of trimming/sanding down the side to make them thinner for the "connectors".

I see what you mean, but still, the head, the character's demeanor, being without a voice box thing, and it still is a bit off to me.

I felt the same way, I just kept checking and then someone on another forum stated that the price did go down to about 52.50$ (CAN), I jumped on it... that was the best price I ever saw it for and it's been up again...

Hope this can work for you and in your price range. As Skywarp is easily the best looking seeker out of the mold .. (until I finish making my own Red Wing out of a Starscream, mwa ha ha - because Red Wing IS insanely priced at scalpers on steroids prices on both ebay and amazon, while Target is impossible to purchase from them the way they did their options for it)

id like to add that fracas can also work as a shattered glass firedrive for rodimus unicronus and if someone wants a color accurate fracas use caliburst legs, blowpipe torso and aimless arms and barrel

 

I believe that alternators shockwave had an earth mode

I made a few custom battle masters by swapping out part so here’s who has what

Tr got rod has lionized and the Autobot battle master from wave one

Trigger happy has blowpipe

Misfire has
Aimless

Slugs linger has a custom battle master made out of blowpipe and aimless

Spinister has a custom battle master which is all blue and the con battle master from the skywarp set

Quake was fracas and a regular calibust

Green light has the sword battle master she came with

Apeface has the axe battle master from the skywarp set

Crosshairs has trench foot

Skywarp could maybe make a comeback, wasn't there a 17-19/1/20 Amazon US date mentioned somewhere?

Plus, as posted elsewhere, I'm apparently getting my UK set:

Heads up for UK Amazon buyers - Siege Phantomstrike pack (Skywarp) is now listed as shipping between 21/1/20 - 27/2/20 according to the email I got.

I can't see that they've restocked it for wider release though, but it would be worth checking around then because they did that with Siege Prime and others.

 

The closest was probably in the original transformer movie game where he had a pretty standard helecopter and artillery alt mode. On the psp version he had a hover tank though. lol

Huh. In fairness that line gave everyone car alt modes, I'm not really sure what kind of Earth vehicle actually suits his character though.

Neat. I guess several of the usual suspects for Megatron alt modes could work for him too as like Megatron his original alt mode was a gun. Though now I'm wondering if you could keep his more angular look by having his alt mode be some variety of Stealth Helicopter or plane or something?
