I think if leader class Optimus does turn out to be an homage to Galaxy/Cybertron OP its appropriate since Ultra Magnus is also an homage to a non-G1 figure.

Good to know. I wasn't sure if the first wave was hitting early right now, or if it came and went without any stores in my area carrying them. Glad to hear I probably still have time; Transformers don't fly off the shelves where I'm at.

 

Should be getting Hound tomorrow. None of the regular stores ever get the new ones until AT LEAST 2 months later! Distribution around here is abysmal! SO, i have to go to a specialty comic place. The prices are more but not usually so much that they are unreasonable.

Yeah my Walmart has a shit ton of potp Grimlocks and Starscreams but the hooks are empty.
They recently put up a Bumblebee display with some studio series and re-issued G1s.
And Target, just looked today and all there is it empty hooks where Siege figures are going so there a little light at the end of the tunnel.
