Nah, they can sit in the loud colors corner with Spinister. :p

Those seem like they’re shelf warming at Target.

Well, it makes sense considering they're in an expensive three-pack (actually a little cheaper than buying three individual voyagers) and they're not "big name" characters that average Target shoppers would look for.

Plus, since Earthrise Starscream was revealed I'm going to see if the ER Seeker mold is superior in any way to the Siege mold; I already like the idea of having the robot mode be better integrated into the Alt-mode; the knees hanging out of the Siege mold are a major eyesore IMO.

There's a misconception with regards to the colour of spinister. It's not neon like but more towards dark matte. Photos usually come out as shiny and bright so they do not really reflect the true colour. They actually portray the brooding image of the decepticons.

For example in photos soundwave appears somewhat shiny blue but in actual hand its more towards a deep blue colour.

Even my photo above could not capture the actual colour of spinister.

Not 100% sure, but I read somewhere here on TFW2005 that Earthrise Starscream doesn't have a waist swivel.

That's pretty bad so far considering what we've gotten with Siege so far.

    edit:

"According to Hasbro, Starscream is meant to have waist articulation, but it was dropped due to that physical space being required for transformation. Possibly for related reasons, his torso is very hollow at the sides."

I'm fine with no waist swivel. I'll take the better alt-mode any day.

I played/collected G.I. Joe as a kid pretty much every penny I earned from mowing lawns, paper route, chores, birthdays... yea it all went into G.I.Joe. I'm loving that the Transformers Siege line feels like what I remember playing with G.I. Joe's felt like. I look at the characters and I can almost hear them yelling: "GO JOE!"

I've got to hand it to Hasui, Spinister's transformation is unlike anything I've seen before. Pleasantly surprised and it's a solid, bigger deluxe. The head sculpt oozes character, I'm feeling these head sculpts with more personality instead of being straightforward mechanical. Definitely one of the better deluxes in the line.

As this line nears its end, I've noticed that many of the deluxes were quite good, usually offering something different per figure. I love how many of the characters which had MP counterparts, definitely borrowed from their MP counterparts(Shockwave's transformation is straight up from the MP, Sideswipe and the Datsuns are similar to the MP Datsun mold).

It's like that saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
