I was half kidding. I actually prefer the yellow eyes, but the blue hands are nice.
The gray biceps are an odd choice, but not a deal breaker by any means.

Oh man, that made me laugh more than it should have.
    Well done!

I’m curious to see how well the Cybertronian Siege figures will blend with the Earthrise line. Some like Sideswipe and Prowl I imagine won’t look out of place. Others not so much.

Granted, wildly ranging aesthetics is one of the charms of this franchise imo

i think thats one of the biggest reasons prime and starscream go do overs, they are probably two of the main siege figures that wouldnt look right with earth mode designs. soundwave can fudge his boombox mode, shockwave kept his cybertronian mode, reflector has his camera mode, and megatron sometimes keeps his cybertronian mode as well, but also looks earthy enough for a generic tank. the seekers are pretty out of place on earth. likewise with the autobots optimus is the one that stands out the most among an earth crew at least in my opinion

I didn't have the chest all the way down but oh well. Love this guy!!! My birthday was earlier this month and my brother went and got me a heap siege figures I couldn't source locally. He has already given Bluestreak and now Ratchet and has Soundblaster and Astrotrain in the pipeline. Incredibly generous. I'm hoping to have Barricade, Impactor and Mirage in the coming week too. With Bluestreak, Ratchet and Mirage my essential G1 cast is really coming together for the first time ever.

So Shockwave didn't ring up for $30 at WM...unless it was somewhere else he was $30. So I passed on him and picked up Soundwave and Megatron. They have a great G1 look but I honestly don't see myself ever transforming them. The robot modes for these two characters is pretty much all I wanted out of them. I'll grab Shockwave if he's on sale but that's it. That will also be it for me on the Siege line. I'll wait for Earthrise. I'll be cherry picking this line but I'm definitely in for Starscream and Optimus in Earthrise.

I think Ironhide and Ratchet are as bad at blending in with the earth figures. Ideally, they’d get new figures. But, eh, whatchagonnado. I don’t want to get new figures for those characters yet anyway.

while not an ideal solution thanks to needing upgrade kits, they do at least look more like earth vans when they dont have obvious feet hanging off the back of vehicle mode (the feet are an upgrade kit from deep space arsenal)

Optimus is guaranteed to get (multiple) new figures with each line. Starscream is also that popular. Was surprised to see Megatron get a pass in POTP. Bumblebee has been getting passed by in generations is surprising but he got his own movie.

Thanks for the heads up on Shockwave, ordered. I can't see him getting a redo for Earthrise, he never took an Earth form. $30 for him feels appropriate seeing as I don't want all the extra stuff he comes with as a Leader class.

For Earthrise, as of right now I'm in for Optimus, Wheeljack, Cliffjumper and Starscream. I'm hoping some of the other figures from Siege get Earth modes and if so I'll be jumping on those.

Which three molds would you use for their respective Omnibots?

Thanks for the welcome guys. I never collected Transformers as a kid, never watched the cartoon as a kid (I'm watching it right now) but they have always intrigued me and frankly transforming them is fun. I like puzzles and this is similar. I'm also a fan of 80's/90's stuff.

I'm just going to keep cherry picking this line as I'm already going crazy with the SS line.
