Ummm... what's going on here?
When they go I will tell a great story to go with it... then order a new one
Well it is nearly "G-1" accurate isn't it ?
Yeah I feel you. Question: is the knees on that particular version of the figure - or that mold itself?
I don’t mind the aesthetics, it’s getting there that’s a hassle
Yeah, it is an ordeal - having to "pray" before snapping in certain joints...
Apeface is a dog and is now humping a rocket.
This toy is quite expensive for a TF toy, but damn.... Siege Jetfire here is quite an impressive looking toy.
Quick update on the Siege collection! 62 of 68 releases neatly piled up. Missing Galactic Man, Iron Hide, and the 4 last releases that are starting to come out now (Apeface, Spinster, Crosshairs, and Astrotrain). I don't think I'll make my goal of having all 68 before cracking them open. I really, really don't like the look of Astrotrain and Apeface to pay full price. Such is life
are you going to open them ever?
My goal was to have all 68 before opening them lol. I don't think I'll make it. It could be months before Astrotrain is on sale.
I just got the 35th anniversary cell shaded Prime. Very disappointed with the packaging. The others have cool drawings on the side. Prime has the Ark.
everyone is coming down on the Apeface figure. It’s funny cuz I’ve had him for over a week now and I can’t put him down. I honestly think he’s the best voyager in this line. Him and Springer have very satisfying clicks when you do their transformations that make it very satisfying. Having him in the front cockpit as an option, or in the back with the shield clipped onto the window is cool. Lots of different brunt loadouts. There’s a lot of play value with him. I like all 3 modes. I don’t see it as a jet or a plane but more a spaceship. Like a pirate ship with the gnarly teeth glaring at you in pursuit. That’s my take on him. He’s fun and innovative. The white nylon plastic works perfectly for how he transforms. Most of the reviewers gave up on him cuz they couldn’t take the time to get familiar with this figure. No one does him the justice he deserves.
That is fair. All the images I see just don't fit with the look of Siege. I'm not against him, just not willing to dump the cash. Though, when I finally see it in stores I may not be able to resist
Well, for me it's the thinness plastic clevis on the knee joint and the brittleness of transparent plastic. It's the only Datsun I have so I'm not sure if that's on the others
Have you considered what order you might open them in? Perhaps in size order, smallest to biggest? Left to right? Seeing them all like that gives me lots of ideas. Maybe I'd put them in a rough color spectrum order and open them red to violet.
I really like him, too. He's been on my desk all week but I haven't even put him in jet mode yet. I'm not going say he's all fun all the time because I've had some frustrating moments, but that's mostly due to trying to hold together so many different sets of pegs and tabs until they're all in place for ape mode. I don't know if this is common, but on my copy none of the tabs stay in place reliably until they're all in place. Another set of fingers on each hand would be useful for holding it all together! His robot mode is my fave in all of Siege right now.
Apeface is great! Makes me excited to see what they'll do with Snapdragon which I hope is coming soon
