I just got him yesterday. His robot mode is pretty great though he is somewhat back heavy so he has issues standing if he isn’t hunched over a bit. The purple and black colors look fantastic and the white isn’t as bad in person as it looks in photos. However it completely washes out a lot of the detailing they put in. He’d probably look a lot better with a dark wash.
His “plane mode” is a bit of a brick but so was the original.
The ape once put together is fairly nice. I love the shark mouth they gave him but holy Christ is the ape transformation a nightmare. Doing it the first time nearly made me throw him across the room in frustration. As others have said the transformation is really finicky and the paper instructions are worthless. Several YouTube reviewers in fact just give up on it. The way it tabs together too make it highly dependent on the individual figure as well. If you happen to get one where the plastic is a little warped or has flash around the connections, it will be murder to fit together. It honestly falls into my Top 5 worst transformations that I’ve experienced.

Out of the new arrivals, the only must-get for me is the cassette two-pack. I will probably be tempted to pick up more (already wavering on Bluestreak); Apeface has the connection of being part of my OG collection and Spinister looks really cool.

very nice. Definitely my most wanted of this last bunch of Siege figures. Looks like one of the best of the entire line, which is no small bar.

though part of me wants to mod his legs to remove the faux canopy. I prefer to avoid faux parts, and I kind of like that sort of asymmetry.

I wasn’t initially interested in this deco, since it wasn’t a good match for the original figure. But it’s really grown on me. Have you seen these Matrix Workshop upgrades for the figure?
I hope they pan out, because they look like a great way to further homage the original.

Honestly I couldn’t say. I don’t actually have any of the mainline movie figures. :D

He’s right up there with Transmetal Cybershark if you have that figure.

TonTon posted a review of Earthrise Prime. Assuming his copy is the final product and it won’t be changed between now and the figures release date, I think it’s safe to say that people can stop freaking out. He’s going to have the blue hands.

Now that there are all seven Siege Seekers available, which individual Seeker is the best use of the mold?

I can't decide between the original three myself.

That's a big assumption. I think Tonton's figure is a sample and myself I wouldn't consider it the final product. To me, the in-package photos of ER Prime seems to be a better indicator of what the final product is.

Like the others said, if you can get him, best do it now before it goes up to the "normal" voyager prices.

I give him a 6.5/10. For me he's the weakest Voyager in Siege line yet better than any Voyager from PotP.

Personally I am partial to Starscream as I think he has the best use of color

Ultrion has a decent ring to it.

For me, he's Ultra Magnus regardless of whether the armor is on or not. Both words are just parts of his name, not descriptive terms for a ungraded mode. I realize that this varies according to the continuity but - with the exception of Animated where "Magnus" is a rank - in the ones I like best and am most familiar with, he's always addressed as Ultra Magnus or Magnus for short.

That is a fantastic idea, and makes me want those Dr. Wu cassette bots more. That really adds more playing and posing value to Ru.....um, I mean to that red and black robot that turns into a cassette.

I just call the inner robot Magnus Prime (yes I know this is a Titans Return figure).

In terms of QC, Ion Storm is the most stable of the seven here. In terms of deco, then Red Wing.

Thundercracker. Red Wing is a very close second. IMHO of course .
