    Reflector Wall E mode.jpg

I put Reflector and Brunt away a couple weeks ago to make room for new toys, then somebody posted that absolutely delightful, oddly-hilarious and awesome Reflector-Brunt tank mode a couple days ago... I had to do it, dug 'em both out of my storage bin and boom! :D

As always, seeing your guys' fan modes with these Siege figures is like finding a $20 bill in an old pair of jeans. :p

The two male tabs that sticks out actually slides in underneath/behind on both sides of the female slots. A little tricky, but boy, when you get it in there, it's nice and snug!

Nothing more satisfying than getting that to lock into place! The toy just went from 10 to a billion in sweetness! Totally move the ape head around without anything snapping out of place! :)

Apeface’s shield is made of transparent plastic, meaning that because of its insertion hole being fractionally too narrow from the factory, and the force that this applies across its long length, it is prone to breakage.

Given we’re now seeing several reports of Apeface’s shield peg breaking, you have two options in preventing this problem:

    1. Widen the hole for the peg to its proper diameter. This corrects the specific problem well.

    2. Shorten the peg. This has the added benefit of making the shield flush to the arm in robot mode. Factory on (his) right, shortened peg on the left:

Because it would be redundant to do both. Additional work with no benefit.

Unless you like the lower profile when mounting the shield and want to absolutely ensure it doesn’t snap off.
But it was more meant as a joke.
Oh, and thanks for posting the pics of the shield mounted on his arm, I appreciate it!

I’ll probably end up doing both. Making the shield more flush isn’t a bad thing, as long as the peg is still long enough to fit where it needs to go in all modes.

Being transparent likely has nothing to do with the problem as opposed to having improper peg and/or port sizes.

Edit: Also should do proper measurements to see if it’s the peg, port, or both causing the issue.

Faux chest sparts and funky Alt mode aside I couldn’t resist picking up a normal Mirage to go with the cloaked version. 6CC22A01-5C0C-4911-AEEC-490580F15485.jpeg 366D19F8-8168-4FCD-AD27-D6F7EF693AD0.jpeg

    I also like having both.
I've been a huge Mirage fan my whole life anyway, but I dig some of the nice touches on the clear one like the different head.
Here's hoping they release a red daiclone version with that head.

Speaking of daiclone, would anyone else totally buy a multi-pack or a whole line of daiclone colored siege figures?
    .....cuz I would.
