Mass-shifting has been a part of Transformers since the beginning and not just the cartoon. Or did G1 Megatron turn into an absolutely colossal pistol? Or did Soundwave turn in to a Boombox the size of a bus? Even if you want to dismiss the G1 Cartoon for some reason mass shifting has been a part of the Transformers lore literally forever. Why is mass shifting less believeable than mechanical aliens from space who can transform into vehicles - often with fully furnished interiors and little to no sign of their robot selves? If their alt modes have to be accurate then would you rather Megatron was a tiny robot so his size is realistic to his gun alt mode in the original toyline?
And as @barry said regardless of your feelings on the dreaded SCALE @Robots78 made an awesome composed picture with cool fx and you replied just to complain about scale?

Anyway, @Robots78, wonderful pic, a lot of energy and epicness there :)

Agreed, plus let's keep it as an Appreciation thread for Siege.
Want to complain about off-topic stuff, there are MANY other places to go.

Okay, now that the "shiny new exclusive" aura has worn off, I think Ratchet is okay. It isn't amazing or any better than Ironhide, but does wear the mold nicely.

If anyone has Ultra Magnus, Springer, and Impactor, could they take a photo of the three Wreckers together? I’m interested in seeing how well they look with each other.

I’m going to assume your thinking of the Reflector “Toy” 3 pack. He will not be sold in stores, only online. The cartoon Reflector has been in stores and is sold individually.

While far from being a pretty at mode, I'm gonna say that Siege Mirage's alt mode has grown on me quite a bit.

Despite being a nice figure on its own, I'm not gonna lie that Siege Ratchet just straight out of the box is very plain-looking. Some additional panel-lining or adding detailing paint will make some details on Ratchet stands out better.

    IMG_20191020_180443.jpg

I added some minor panel-lining and added just a bit of red paint on my Ratchet; I didn't do much to my own Ratchet yet, but already I think it looks better.

There's 2 different Reflektor sets. The purple singles and the Special Recon boxset.

I do have firsthand experience with the Matrix Workshop sets. They're very, very easy to sand and test-fit. No special tools needed.

Here's a photo of mine. It took only a few seconds to sand and test fit each peg with a small file. These have been played with by an 8 year old for the past two weeks with no problems.

I'm sure I'll get debated about it again, but really, they're easy to correct with minimal sanding.

I just realized I'm almost done with Seige. Wow! Just need cel-shaded OP, Barricade and Bluestreak. I know I'm not likely to get my hands on Greenlight but oh well, that's how it goes sometimes.

I think the main takeaway here is that the sets need corrected out of the box in order to be viable. For some, it's worth it. For others, not so much.

Guys are you not seeing the bigger picture? You can get this set and give most of them to Impactor! Now he can even go full Ash mode and have a chainsaw for a hand!

A day in the life at Autobase base...
    base.jpg

Edit: 4 FEXT 03 sets put together. This was not my intended layout. They skimped on some connector pieces and had to add extra platforms. Instructions are terrible. Some panels and connectors look the same but are slightly different and will leave gaps if not used at ends / corners. Still worked out well in the end.

It always reminds me of Ninninger when I see Omega without the tank unit like that.

Gigantic rocket base? Omega Supreme is obviously a medium-sized rocket base. Scales perfectly. ;)

I get the frustration but these are not mass produced pieces from steel molds. as someone who has purchased most of Nonnef's output over the last 3 years, minor sanding and modifications is to be expected from these kinds of 3D printed accessories. They can test as much as they want, but you're still buying an addon part that was not built for your specific copy of the toy and official toys have their own range of qc issues to contend with. anything fancier than a 5mm peg, you should plan for minor fit-up issues.

Greenlight is still available on Amazon.

Yeah, I realized that my Siege collecting is coming to an end too recently. I'm still waiting on Impactor and Mirage to ship, and Crosshairs drops in December, but then that's it. Apeface and Spinister just don't look good enough to justify dropping the money on them, and Astrotrain (who I was never %100 sold on to begin with) is now part of Earthrise I guess. I might pick up another Micromaster pack or two, but while those are technically Siege I've never really considered them as such, since except for the cassette bots they just don't go well with it. Aside from the upcoming OP and maybe Ironworks, I'm not big on what I've seen from Earthrise so far.

I'm kind of bummed that it's ending, but hey, it gave me a lot of great toys. Also, my wallet could use a break. :)

Great shot. Omega is down for maintenance I see. Whose instructions is Prowl reading?

Smashdown. Seemed more interesting to him than Pteraxadon's.
