Quick question; has anyone else's Siege Megatron's left leg, mainly at the knee, become a bit weakened or not as sturdy/ tight as the right?

 

I’m def going to have to do that! To bad hasbro couldn’t of just done this!

 

That was such a cool scene in the comic! Great job recreating it  

 

After messing around with Ratchet, I find myself thinking, "Why for the love of god, did they not use his white or even wheel/crotch ultra light grey for the white bits on Apeface. Imagine how much nicer that would likely look instead of the weirdly creamy, shiny, almost translucent white he seems to have currently.

 

I wonder similar things about Sideswipe. Why doesn't he have the same white as First Aid/Covert Sideswipe has instead of that weird off-white? :-/

 

I love that, unlike Ironhide, ratchets leg flaps doesn’t explode.

 

That red looks great along with the whole figure! What color/brand is it?

I got it from Walmart for $1. They have a variety of acrylic paints in small bottles which is perfect because I don't need a lot and can pick up a whole bunch of colors for painting small details.

 

Now that's what I call making an impact(or).

finally found Lazerbeak and Ravage in the wild.

 

The flaps on the outside of each leg. On my Ironhide, you could pick him up and the panel would fall off like it wasn’t even attached. That’s how loose they were before I pinned them.

Quick question to anyone who has Siege Jetfire. Just got my personal one and I can't get the face mask to stay put. The spring in the head crest just keeps pushing it back out. Am I missing some step to lock it in place?

 

I don't have Gabriel so I'm not really able to answer your question, but from looking at those pictures I think Siege Omega looks a whole lot better. The DX9 looks flat an uninteresting by comparison. I appreciate the lights, and some people will greatly prefer the clear visor and blue eyes (I'm perfectly happy with the Siege version), but overall I like the look of my Siege OS a whole lot better. Some would like the smoother look of Gabriel, but for me the molding and detailing make it look a bit more like the design of something real and a bit less like a toy. I'm also not a stickler for toon accuracy. It's a matter of taste, I guess. Don't know how the actual quality of the builds compare.

 

My Megatron just has loose ankles and extremely tight elbow joints.

Weird. I can pick my Ironhide by the flaps, even swing him around a bit. I didn't go too crazy because I don't want to tempt fate.
I guess I got lucky on him to make up for buying 2 Hounds at 2 different Walmarts 6ish months apart and both of them come apart during transformation.
