I got into collecting Transformers back during the last waves of Thrilling Thirty, but haven't plunged into a line like I have with SIEGE! This has been a great year, and I have bought most of the main releases. Here's the wave 4 deluxe boys:

Last two days finds...not bad!

 

Removed the smudges on Ratchet's shins and added some makeshift crosses using red electrical tape. May or might not keep it on. Loving this guy so far

 

question, how is it that some photos are in the body of the post and some are thumbnails at the bottom

Because o e inner red dot and one outer red dot is maddening.

 

When you upload a file, you get the option to insert it into your post as a thumbnail, as the full size of the picture, or if you choose neither option then it just leaves it as an attached file at the bottom of your post

 

It is normal. It's on every Soundwave I ever saw. I thought it was a factory miscommunication, but I'm pretty sure it's even that way on the box art.

 

so, Springer is just a great as hoped.

Solid build. good balance, great for posing.

I like his transformations, they offer some nice unique movements!!

 

Well I'm relieved that it's not a defect, but the asymmetry will mess with my head.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking too. All of the other Siege Deluxe/Voyager/Leader's are very recognizable characters except for the final wave. I was pretty surprised when they made the final wave announcement as I had expected the line to be over, so I think they added Apeface at the last minute.

Cell shaded OP looks really good in person, but I'm just turned off by the Siege forearm kibble.



Soundblaster looked better in person too, the light piping is great. And I even talked myself into an impluse purchase. BUT - not one figure in the entire assortment had perfect paint. None had a "Play" button painted straight. They all tapered off to his left side. All but one had smudged/blurry chest doors cracks. Then half had nice battle damage paint on the shins, with the finer details, then the other half had really plain and solid grey patches.



If I find a perfect one in the wild I'll pick him up, but for $30, I'm not double dipping on essentially the same figure as a paint project.
