How did you try to take the pin out? You need a soldering iron to remove flathead pins.

Flathead pins, even if you can see the other end, are very annoying to take out without visible damage.

Soldering iron method: Heat up the pin to soften surrounding plastic. Then remove pin depending on situation (in this case, use the pin tool without the hammer, simple force by hand should do it). Of course, you have to be careful and not melt or knick anything else with the soldering iron.

I did soldering iron to fix SS Rampage's belly piece (factory error resulted in all Rampage's having backwards belly pieces: no functional issues, just cosmetic).

Exactly. It's odd that they didn't notice and put the light piping in that way instead. It's a minor gripe for an overall stellar figure, but it does eliminate the point of having light piping to begin with.

He definitely looks better with the black one.

Yes! I did enjoy that scene a lot, & even though my Sunstorm is one of the CHMS (KO) mold it’s still pretty good, & I do love this colour scheme which even the official BotCon one a few years later didn’t have. I should do some more recreations of that now I have both actually, it was really fun to do!

Sorry to hear V3 was only done as singles, there were rumours of I being reprinted but I think they must have had rights issues in the end (due to how it ended) But if you ever get a chance to read it, I definitely recommend V3 as the best of the lot!

Thanks man! That thread looks fun, & I’m sure you’ve got them but somewhere I have the 5 inked preview pages from Issue 12 V3 saved, which never saw print. Let me know if you want them uploaded in that thread (don’t want to get this too off-topic here!)

I agree with your assessment of Shatter, but how do you figure that Dropkick is a remold if her? There are no shared parts as far as I can tell, and the transformation is very different.

I wonder why is it for every Bluestreak release (even the MP), the Autobot sigil on his hood chest don't have the white base color? The black color of the hood seems to overwhelm it making it near invisible. Yet Barricade's 'con sigil has the white base making it prominent. Why does Takara/Hb always scrimp on Bluestreak? :lolol
