Good find! I’ve been too busy to go around on the hunt for a couple of weeks, and didn’t realize he is a Toys R Us exclusive, and already out! Popular items get snatched up quickly here in northern Taiwan — small area with a lot of collectors! Same in Kuala Lumpur?

Looks like TrU there is a bit more expensive. I feel $799 Taiwan Dollars (RM107.92; CAD$34.12; US$27.73) is a bit high, the regular retail price for a deluxe nowadays being NT$639 at many other shops. But after having it in-hand and playing with it together with Ironhide I don’t feel bad about the 21.60 Ringgit extra (CAD$6.83; US$5.15). What’s your normal deluxe price look like?

 

I took a look on their site and the order e-mails I've received, and unfortunately I don't see a phone number, just e-mail, which I'm sure you've already tried. Googled it and Whitepages.com lists their number as (615) 956-6091, but I don't know if it's legit or if they would do customer service calls on it if it is.

So I ordered Smokescreen from Dorkside Toys on Monday but hadn't seen any shipment on it yet, so I emailed their customer service to inquire and this was their response:

"We have spent all morning looking for the item and are dumbfounded that the item is listed as in-stock; we cannot apologize enough, Matt! We actually went to ship just now and simply cannot locate the stock. We are assuming the listing quantities are incorrect. We can change the shipping if you'd like a prefer to wait or we can cancel the item should you wish to try and locate the item elsewhere. Either way, we can only be understanding. We apologize again for the circumstance."

So for any of you other folks that ordered this week, we may be out of luck and have to wait a little longer.
