Man, I am loving these new gobot figures!

 

I know it's now the original toy was, but I just don't know why that one bot has a red nose. It looks like he been drinking.

I appreciate so much that these 2 are not just a repaint with head swap. There’s a good amount of remolding to differentiate the both of them and it’s wonderful.

 

With the not even close to being accurate Cybertron Hotshot using the Hound mold on it's way from the Select line soon, how is it the more accurate if it uses the Sideswipe mold Armada Wheeljack not a thing yet?!?

Maybe, but with how much Hasbro loves their repaints, I'm hoping to see this guy in the Select line someday.

 

Siege has really taken it's sweet time to get where I am. I've only seen wave 2 in shops here. Fortunately Amazon makes it all a bit easier.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but is Siege Bluestreak going to be sold at Walmart stores?

Between all the Selects/exclusives in this line, I’ve lost track of how this figure is being released, and I haven’t come up with a plan to get him.

yep, bluestreak, soundblaster, animation optimus prime and animation megatron are walmart exclusive in the usa. any other vendors that are selling them are sourcing from hasbro asia or another source and have a markup

 

Kind of an odd question, but will the drill from the powerdasher guy peg into Megatron's fusion cannon's barrel, and, if so, could someone post a picture of the tank mode with the drill in place of his sword-gun?

 

You’re absolutely correct, but I honestly wouldn’t have cared and I wish that Hasbro didn’t either. The Sideswipe mold is an absolute gem and I want it as many times as I can get it. If we can get seven Seekers, why not a little more Sideswipe love?

 

If Walmart has surplus, it'll likely end up on physical stores. Otherwise, they were only up for pre-order through their online store. Other online stores do have it up for pre-order.

 

that makes it sound like the likelihood of them being on store shelves is low, which isnt the case. walmart has actually been doing well with stocking their exclusives this year, the 35th anniversary figures are slated for an oct1 release and i cant imagine they wont end up on store shelves

 

I didn't care for the colours of normal Sideswipe but I adore my Covert Clone Sideswipe and I agree it's a great mold. Honestly I think it would work well as an Autobot grunt type army builder too.
I also still think with a little remolding of the hood/chestplate and a new head you could get a good Sunbow styled Knockout from this mold.


And agreed about Seekers. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for Seeker fans but it can grate when sometimes the same people who applaud getting Starscream in every colour of the rainbow shoot down other peoples' desired figures for being recolours or having 'too many' already :/
