I think the new Astrotrain does look leagues better than the TR version. I don't really get the price issues, as the mass and engineering of the extra armor pieces seems roughly equivalent to a deluxe Weaponizer. 29.99 voyager + 19.99 deluxe in rough value of mass/parts count. Not to mention the Siege figues seem to have more mass and better use of said mass than previous lines even at a smaller scale. About the only complaint I can have is that the extra car doesn't form anything but platform shoes and a huge backpack. Would have been kinda cool if it broke down into more armor pieces like Shockwave's did.

But hey, with the negativity, maybe I can scout out buying some extras of the Shockwave armor! Haha

Hoping I can snag a Jetfire on clearance, but otherwise waiting for Mirage and Barricade. Kinda undecided on Impactor. Omega will require some budgeting. Hope to get the Skywarp package and Thundercracker eventually. Only really wanting Slamdance out of the other set.

EDIT: Forgot Ratbat and Rumble. And Ratchet. MY BUDGET SUCKS.

I didn't know that Z sword was out already. How's the quality on it, smooth plastic or 3D printed with lines?

hello, beautiful. Though if it's not available for a reasonable price through Pulse, I am pretty happy with POTP Nemesis.

Your critiques are entirely valid, I still can't bring myself to buy Shockwave at full price. But there is a fine line between critique and whining. I haven't seen you personally crossing the line, but other people who dislike the current leader class have.

Astrotrain looks pretty neat imo, If I had any connection to the character I might pick it up.
I don't think of the tinderbox being any different than G1 Prime's trailer

More teal than usual, which is nice, but I still don't like Nemesis Prime. Also that one red side window panel would drive me in insane.

I should clarify that, while I do wish Siege Astrotrain had a little more height, I'm still all in on the figure. No offense to anyone sticking with their TR or Legends version, but to my eye Siege does look like the best option. I'll just be exploring any available options (Shapeways, add on kits) to increase his height is all. I'm still super excited to add him to the collection and place him next to TR Blitzwing, who was actually my very first purchase when I got into this crazy hobby roughly a year ago. As for price, it's kind of a moot point, at least for me as a relatively new collector. Would I like to pay less for Astrotrain? Of course. But Legends Astrotrain was on my radar before I found out there was going to be Siege version and the after market prices on him aren't great either.

So weird thing. My Ironhide had one panel that could connect to his leg and one that couldn't. I got ratchet and wanted to compare the two. Found Ironhide, transformed him in robot and bam! Panels stayed. Even when I click and unclick them. Weird.

My Nightbird came with a second set of panties, loose hips, too tight right shoulder that makes the bicep swivel loose in one spot and feels like it'll shear clean off in another.

    Yikes.

    Skywarp set arrived today!

Skywarp looks good, although the neck plate likes to lean back for some reason

Terror-Daxtyl has one loose foot but is fine otherwise

Finally owning the Firebolt mould, I feel like Fracas' gun barrels integrate better in robot mode than Aimless

    Shrute is decent enough

Oh god yes. TR Blitzwing is not my idea of a good time.

Awesome. That looks like a whole load of fun.

Pretty boy is just too darn pretty. I'd totally welcome this as the base for a new Drift.

I think aragon would work. In hand the difference isnt that much.
And Impactor is rather nice indeed.
